Two black women, convicted of armed robbery, are being released from jail because one of them needs a new kidney. Since the other has agreed to give her kidney, they are both being released. However, they both need to lose weight and one needs to stop smoking. They will be allowed to pursue this outside of jail (wtf?).

The article then continues to minimize the convicts' crime by detailing how they only made away with a few bucks. Why does the amount of money make any difference? It's still ARMED ROBBERY (and kidnapping, which they were not persecuted for!) no matter how much you make off with. It also continues to talk about how some people think their sentence was too harsh and plagued by racial discrimination. The women say jail is hard/stressful and they wish to see their children/grandchildren.

Okay, so if these were MEN, we all know they would have gotten longer sentences, and would be not released for a damn kidney transplant. "Prison is rough" and "I want to see my family" are reason's any jury would laugh at if it came from a male mouth. Hell, if a man ever got out of prison for armed robbery he would probably not be allowed within 100 yards of his children/grandchildren. We all know men get harsher sentences for the same crime, even if its only a few dollars stolen. Oh, and the jury had 5 black jurors, how would they be discriminated against? You need a unanimous decision in court, not a majority!
