My wife and I got in a spat over what I think is not a big deal but she...obviously does. Back story: There was a women (Jane for lack of a better name) who says she was repeatedly asked to show her breasts at a bar in town, after the third attempt she punched the guy in the face and called the cops after a few hours. Jane was on the local radio and was talking about the encounter but what I thought was weird is she never really gave a detailed description of the guy.

She was on the radio saying how the police told her there was not much they can do because they do not have a lot to go on. What I told my wife is that perhaps when she was on the radio, if she told the public, hey this guy was 5'10", medium build, white, was wearing stripped whatever... that maybe someone in the public would be able to give them more information, like hey that was my friend, he's an arse, etc. What she mostly said was that it was a male at this bar.

After I said that, it was a shit show, I don't understand the dangers, how could I, she was disgusted by what I said, I am victim blaming, not her job to do the police work. I thought I was making a valid point, what do you think? I just honestly believed that when "Jane" was on the radio she could have used that medium to really help her instead of bashing the bar (They were asses for kicking her out tbh) and the police. I am sure she was telling the truth but I just thought she missed out on an opportunity. Anyways that's my rant, perhaps this is not the place to post it but I wanted to see what you guys have to say.
