I hope this topic is allowed because I think it is important to show, we can celebrate achievements from either gender on here.

The Lionesses have shown tonight a scrappy game, where Germany showed moments of brilliance and England pulled out all the stops, showing remarkable resilience. It could have gone either way. But this time, the History Books will record that England won.

We get a bad rep on here from groups such as Mumsnet etc. Where women are allowed to group together and support each other, it feels like we are bad mouthed as a bunch of misogynist women haters on here, when we celebrate each other on here as brothers and look to support ourselves as well.

The truth is, there are inequalities on both sides. That's life.

But today, I want to tip my hat to the Lionesses. Congrats to Mead, Kelly, Toone, Earps, Bronze and Magull, Gwinn, Wasmuth and Hegering. All of them had a remarkable game.

Make of that what you will.
