I wish they would ask Kirsten Gillibrand why she doesn't take rape seriously.

It's a really tough matter. On the one hand, people think rape trumps every single other crime and perpetrators must be lynched.

On the other hand, people seem okay with prison rape, diluting definitions and making false reports while strictly opposed to any practical measure to defend oneself against rape.
