We've moved beyond misandry to eliminationist rhetoric consistent with campaigns prior to genocide. Despite popular belief, the misandry inherent to second-wave feminism a la "SCUM" (Society for Cutting up Men) did not originate in the 70's.

The original grand dragon of feminism, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, wrote: "We are, as a sex, infinitely superior to men." She was also a racist, stating, “The enfranchisement of women would insure immediate and durable white supremacy."

Feminism is a hate cult. Simple as that.

Don't worry men -- females do not have the capacity to eliminate you. Moreover, without males civilization would collapse in a matter of days. The last thing feminists want is for their workhorses to die. Moreover, most women love men just as we love women.

But the men in power are clearly on board with the feminist agenda, precisely because it disempowers men and therefore eliminates the primary threat to elite dominance.

Feminists are useful idiots, nothing more. They are not fighting "the man" but working for "his" ends. All of this nonsense will pass. Unfortunately we're gonna have to go through some serious humiliation before a true egalitarian society is born.

This is already well known in evolutionary science. Mammals undergo sexual selection, an expensive process, because it is better than not doing it. A better title though would be "Why sexes exist".

Why is anyone upset about this? This is an article about general biology. It's a fair, if not sort of ignorant, question; why hasn't evolution landed on asexual reproduction?

If men didn't exist, an all women society would probably be enslaved by baboon tribes and eat grubs to survive. The baboons would likely regularly offer them up as meat gifts to appease tiger and lion tribes against attacking them. Humankind would not have even said hello to the Stone Age.
