As for your sarcastic question, I'll answer it dead seriously: the time I've heard the most "headspace" being pronounced in the shortest time was a video called "operator headspace" about gun safety, and gun shop owner complaining about stupid customers.

This is simple. Men and women (but most often women, usually teen and 20s women) have been using code language like this for years and years to disguise relationship motivations even from themselves.

What she’s saying without saying so is that he’s not somebody she’s physically attracted to, just Mr. Safe who gives her validation and support. She’d have sex with someone she’s attracted to; that persons presence alone would put her in the right mental state. He’s not that person. He’s probably ‘a really nice guy who treats her like a princess except that he just wants sex and I’m not ready’. She’ll probably bang the next boyfriend early in that relationship if she doesn’t cheat first.

The better idea would be for her to break up now or for him to get wise and do it. Who knows if that’ll happen.
