In the linked story, a man was removed from a basketball game based on an unsupported claim by a female player (Richardson) he made a a racial slur.

He was removed yet police say video evidence does not support her accusation.

“The source said Richardson’s story “doesn’t add up” and accused BYU of banning an “innocent man to appease the mob and make their PR mess go away.”

What I also find disturbing is commenters strongly back the the female accuser, despite the fact her accusation has been proven false.

MeToo and BeliveWomen may not have the same same social media presence they once did, but it certainly appears to me the practice of believing women over men and taking action against wrongly accused men is still very much alive and very supported.
