Submission Statement: I came across this chain of tweets and just thought it was a pretty telling example of what's wrong with dating specifically, and gender relations more broadly. Not meant as a shitpost or a call out (well, maybe of the middle girl a little). Just like...well, just look at it.

Top is a mediocre, trite joke that's arguably punching down and misses some relevant points and history. Middle is a person who lacks self-awareness and inadvertently makes one of the incel community's points for them. And the last is a guy who--also inadvertently?--hits on the problem of hypergamy.
