This sub is trying to convince us that there is an important difference between tradcons and "enjoy the decline" nihilists. I disagree. If anything, the nihilist crowd is often even more neoreactionary and crypto-authoritarian.

Most "enjoy the decliners" literally WISH that western civilization ends. That's what the term "enjoy the decline" implies. They think that western civilization is on decline and that it will eventually collapse. Most Red Pillers are secretly happy with the potential of a collapse because they think that this is the only way that the patriarchy will return.

I have literally never seen an enjoy the decliner who was not some kind of tradcon deep down. Rollo Tomassi is often considered "apolitical" yet he wrote a whole blog post about how he voted for Trump because a female president would bring our doom and I have even seen him implying that Islam has "good reasons" for suppressing women. It's obvious that such individuals are not apolitical and they're not anti-tradcon.

Anti-tradcon Red Piller: nonexistent. What TRPillers mean when they say that they're not tradcon, they mean they disagree with the CURRENT, MAINSTREAM FORM of conservatism, mostly because it's not extreme enough for them. Enjoy the Decliners are accelerationists who support 19th century gender roles, if not worse.
