I think that at the point that someone has ultimatums about dress sense the relationship is over.

If my GF alluded to wanting to see me in more (insert type of dress sense here) id just do it or work with her, if I werent willing to, id not respect her if she put up with it.

I wouldn't call it misogynist. But dictating what your partner does, when they're not cool with it, can be considered a worrying sign of other issues.
