Newbie Question: From my experience having various Roommates, why does it seem many guys have No Friends and many Girls have Only Male friends?(Getting a Wingman or Wing girl is RARE)

Maybe its a skewed sample or I'm hanging out with the "wrong crowd."

However, this has been my experience so far and I wanted to share my findings.

Male Roommate: Mostly played video games all day. He saw me as a competition. He would go to play video games loudly. We would have "drama" over that. He would play all the time.

Female Roommate: She was a musician. She would play guitar. But then she always had guys "offering" her things. For instance, a guy invited her for a free dinner. Another guy got her a show.
