This post isn't an attempt to hate on women. As someone who's studied psychology (as an interest, not professionally), my entire adult life, the concept of morality has always fascinated me. There are interesting evolutionary underpinnings as to how morality would arise. It's curious though, that we have the mental processing power to conceptualize the concept at all.
As men (almost universally) help raise their own offspring, an oddity among mammals, women evolved to be hypergamous to sort which males would be the most willing to aid her in the raising of that offspring. And males evolved to give women his resources in exchange for access to her reproductive capabilities.
While males to compete and fight among one another, males also had to cooperate, hunting together and protecting their group against rival groups and other predators. As males are competitive, social status and the respect of men's other peers is important to men. Additionally, males evolved traits to exhibit altruistic behavior. To avoid others taking advantage of that altruism (like a non-reciprocal out group), men may have evolved the concept of morality. Which may mean that women had no particular need to also develop this cognitive ability. This doesn't mean they don't have this ability, but I'm not seeing an evolutionary mechanism that would have selected for it.
Quite to the contrary. As women evolved to be hypergamous, then she may not have a firm grasp of morality at all. When women talk about moral concepts listen carefully to see if she is talking about the concept as something that's independent of her or any other person. In my experience, this rarely happens. Typically, from what I've seen, a woman will express moral concepts as it relates to her own well being. Does X in some way benefit her directly? Then in a woman's eyes, it's moral. If X is detrimental to her, then it's immoral.
Well, it may be difficult to admit that something that is detrimental to you is moral. So what if X is in no way beneficial nor detrimental? Would a woman still be able to determine if X was moral or immoral?
