To all those who disagree with incel discourse, how do you explain the rising celibacy rate amongst men?

This article shows that the male celibacy rate is rising:

So how would you explain this?

I’ll give a brief summary of my theory.

The world is more globalised and we have access to more people as dating options because of dating apps. Now then, men want to have sex with as many women as possible, but women are much more picky about who they choose for relationships. And the characteristics they seek are men who are tall and handsome. Women would rather have a short term relationship with a tall, handsome guy who has already had many sexual partners, rather than an average or ugly guy who has little experience. So what happens is that a large percentage of women are having sex with a relatively low percentage of men, and so some men are left behind. This explains why the male virginity rate has been steadily rising over the last ten years.
