So often when coming across blue pill, red pill, black pill, pick up "artists"(cringe), there's always so much nonsense, it feels almost... religious in nature.

When I read the discussions it reminds me of those "god works in mysterious ways" or "you just gotta belieeeveee man" type of things.

Always talks about confidence, alpha, beta, desperation, "spiking" her emotions, 6th senses("they can feel your insecurity brroooo") and other nonsense.

What is this trash?

If someone wanted to lose weight, you wouldn't need to create an entire mythology around food, and tell wild stories about how the food feels their insecurity and lack of resolve and their negative energy is keeping the fat on.

You'd just need to tell them to eat 500kcal under maintenance. Done. Works every time. Measurable. Reliable.

Why do the communities who claim to be facts based truthseekers and giving you "the red pill" not take the same approach?

Why do they resort to unmeasurable, subjective, creative nonsense instead? Why not take a more scientific approach?

They start with a bit of truth, and they build entire imagined universes around that truth. If we don't know what attracts men or women, say we don't know. Don't invent nonsense, don't start reading tea leaves and telling me my zodiac.

But a lot of data seems quite clear - men and women are virtually the same when it comes to attraction. Looks by far the most important, then status and a similar view of the world.

Both men and women will choose the best option they have available in terms of looks and status first, making small concessions for people with a similar lifestyle.

Some markets favour women and they can be more picky, some markets favour men and they can be more picky.

Looks and status are relative, there is no objective measure. You have to be around the 80th percentile for looks and/or status to do really well, with looks more relevant for the short term, status more relevant for the long term.

That's pretty much it.

No frame, no confidence, no alpha, no fakery, no try harding, no bad boys, no nice guys, none of this nonsense.

If you're at the 80th percentile for looks or status or especially both, there's no way whatsoever you're struggling to get attractive women/men in your life, in any country, any city in the world.

The dating world advice often feels like the fitness industry advice, constantly inventing more and more nonsense to make it seem like it's really complicated and mysterious and "they" have the answers, if you just pay them 5 easy payments of £999.99

It's so weird seeing people try and twist and bend themselves into something that they're not. If you're low status you'll never be able to keep up a persona for any significant amount of time without being a narc/psycopath. It's much better to work towards ACTUALLY being high status.

A 5'1 ugly fat guy acting "alpha" will never be taken seriously, people will feel sorry for him if anything.

TLDR: Be more like a scientist, less like Deepak Chopra.
