How is this PPD? I have a feeling if a male would have shown up in shorts and a tanktop he probably would have got the same treatment. If anything, it is just a lesson in etiquette.

I've seen worse in traffic court in the US, shit, I've seen worse in Criminal court in the US. The only people that dress up for court anymore are civil lawsuits and lawyers.

I've had this happen before. I had gotten some sort of ticket and didn't know it; I then got pulled over by a police officer and told I was driving on a suspended license.

I went to court dressed in the best that I could afford (for a poor college student). While I was waiting my turn I noticed that I was actually in the minority of folks for wearing slacks, dress shirt and tie.
