Serving in the US military is by no means a typical educational or emotional metric to measure an intelligence level, but there is a pragmatic sense of reality within the ranks, especially the lower ranks that know this and does not make a big deal out of test scores. You take the ASVAB test, you get GT score of 140, and you end up in motor transport. It happens all the time. However, you do not see the majority of service members walking around, patting themselves on the back about it. The people in this video seem to be hung up on their individual scores on this test and others like the SAT’s as a way to make themselves seem like they’re the smartest in the room. The guy with military service doesn’t look all they concerned, and truly couldn’t care less.
