Aww voles! This article is really cool, I want to highlight the underlying message:

The brain circuit they identified had previously been linked to learning, which suggests social bonding itself is a form of mental training.

A lot of people recoil from RP ideas because of how clinical and detached they can be. Emotions and impulses play a big role in nearly everyone's decision making process, so deconstructing various dynamics and processes feels inhuman and even vulgar. But human relationships are more than the intangible and irrational. There are patterns that some can intuit and others can arrive at logically, and once these patterns are known we can develop strategies using this knowledge in our favour. Understanding that we can evoke specific responses from men is the first step in learning how to get the outcome we want.
