Hello ladies :)

I've been lurking for months now, and I have to say you're a wonderful group of women. I honestly thought I was the only one who believes this feminist era is downright embarrasing . Reading your posts have changed a lot of my perspectives, I see a difference here and there, but at the same time, feels like I am opening a can of worms.

A little background about me-26,F have a wonderful career, life was filled with fuck ups, not a great relationship with my mother untill recently and no biological father. (Once I realized that was possibly an issue of mine- I made big changes.)

So, how do you know if you if your SO has a lack of respect for you vs red pill. My current SO (27) has RP tendencies, (doesn't know the term, though) . European, "the woman does this the man does that," type of stuff. Which in general I always loved. But at the same time, idk, just sometimes how he acts regardless if it's towards me or his own self, I don't see it as RP.

Yeah, so I have been torn. how would you define the line between redpill and respect?

EDIT**

I want to say thank you to everyone! You opened my perspective a bit on myself as well as this relationship.

Last night was my breaking point during an argument about an upcoming event (which was him yelling and being angry. I did more listening than speaking. Yay!)

He gets like this every time we have an event to go to. This time, it was regarding his best friends wedding (this Saturday) and how he expects me to dish out money for my plate, when he told me for months not to worry about it. (Yes, he spent bookoo bucks at the bachelor party last weekend, and yes, this just confirms at 27 he is awful with his finances and most likely will not change.)

For granted, I do not mind paying, but its the principal of the situation.. This is not the first time he changes his mind last minute about what we are doing to accommodate him, regardless if it is about expenses, who is driving, what time we are leaving etc. Oh and I might as well mention, I never saw the invitation for the wedding (according to him, it doesn't matter the invitation or sending back the RSVP since he is in the wedding) or know where the ceremony or reception is. Since he is in the wedding, I am going by myself, OH AND sitting at a table with people I do not know. I asked months ago when he found out to please find out who I am sitting with since I am uncomfortable with this, not only do I not know anyone there, but from experiences prior with this group of people, they are rather snobbish and speak their language instead of English, so I really do not know what is going on.

Now I am off to figuring out how to end things... till next time ladies :)
