Hi! I was talking to a guy, but due to distance we decided to leave things for now—still having feelings though. During that time, I noticed he followed a girl. Out of curiosity, I checked her profile and let it be, but had a gut feeling he might be talking to her (though we were in no contact).

Not long after, she “accidentally” messaged me, quickly deleted it, and then blocked me on the accounts he follows of mine—ones even my friends don’t know about. A week later, he suddenly reaches out saying he wants to try again, while she still has me blocked. When I asked about it, he said he’s never met her and he barely knows her, they met on an app ages ago, haven’t talked in months, and she lives in a different country now.

Is this all a bit weird?
