Hello everyone! I'm a newlywed who is getting used to new roles as a wife, and would love some advice about homemaking and housekeeping. I am learning to be more enthusiastic and joyful about it and while my husband hasn't said much about it I think he has noticed.

What are some of the tips and tricks you have picked up, especially regarding organization, keeping clutter at bay, and cleaning best practices?

Also this may be silly but I've never had a dishwasher until now and I'm not sure if there is any maintenance I should be doing to it, I've noticed recently glasses come out with a sand-like residue stuck to the inside, what's with that?

Another thing that has been a learning curve to me: engineered hardwood floors! Why are they so hard to keep clean? I feel like it is impossible to keep footprints out of the kitchen unless I wear fuzzy socks.

Thanks in advance!
