Im not a man of many words, Ive only ever posted in a few places here and there so im going to make this brief.

Im the kind of guy acutely concerned with his own wellbeing. Its served me well. Im 31, make over six figs, graduated highest honors with BBA in finance, a former Ford Inc model, world traveled, and multilingual. I enjoy my life very much, but with all I have it does mean I have a lot to lose. So I err on the side of "better safe than sorry" with the women and all but completely rule out LTRs. Too risky. Id rather focus on stacking cash, my career, visiting friends abroad, investing into startups and all that.

I look at marriage subs and divorce subs at these poor SOBs that come out net negative after being spit out of that family court machine and feel sad for them. Every man wants to leave a legacy sure, but at what cost? I wont ever be those guys. Smart people learn from their mistakes and even smarter one's learn from the mistakes of others.

So I quietly observe it all - mgtow, puas, red pillers, blue pillers and married guys of all stripes doing the self reflective thing. Theyre trying to up the value they may not have been born with, bettering themselves and I respect it. Some of us start further along the curve than others, but a guys got to make his way regardless. Lot of work, no two ways about it.

All the while wondering why is it always the man doing this introspection.

I have two wonderful still married parents but figured those days have been gone and theirs just a new breed out there. Figure that the whole institution of partnering and the balance has been so out of whack for so long their wasnt a woman out there acknowledging it much less attempting to rectify their share of the burden.

Until a friend pointed me here and let me say, I stand corrected. You all might just turn this whole backwards thing, right-side around again.

You all seem like genuinely introspective, compassionate people trying to meet their partners halfway. You check each other when youre out of line, none of that in group preference. You're willing to admit when youre wrong and willing to attempt a change. You value communication and theirs a level of respect and privacy in your partner, not just as a man but as a person, I seldom see.

Best Im able to tell you all seem to be reverting back to traditional roles of differing but mutually appreciated positions in a relationship. And as far as I can tell, its not without some concerted effort but, it is working for you. And I wish you all continued success.

I want for nothing in this life thus far, so I dont admire loudly or often, but Ill admit that this sub is admirable, and that it's not without notice.

Best of luck to you all and pardon any errors Im not one for long talking/typing.
