Hook him up to be friends with my fiancé lol. My fiancé is an attorney who loves movies and exploring.

Society has brainwashed me to believe femininity is a weakness. I grew up dirt poor, fatherless, and my single mother was not the best of role models. I embraced being masculine out of a sense of survival and joined the military when I was 17. My relationships did not work and I subscribed to hook up culture because, again, I never had any guidance from a father figure. At 29 I found this sub and incorporated what I learned in my LTR I met when I was 30. Three years later, I am engaged. We both …

You seem disappointed in your married friend. She is being a human and acknowledging her weakness. At least she is attempting to mitigate by not ending up alone in that guy's presence.

Student loans suck. Look for careers that provide student loan forgiveness as well-like something that will get you a job in Alaska or something.

You should be able to apply for unemployment benefits. When I ETS'd from active and joined the guard, I was able to collect almost 2K a month while I went to college full time for like two years. Get rid of the wife and fight for your child. Since you're getting out of the army, you aren't on the hook anymore to take care of her dependapotamus ass.

My PMS hormones turn me into a hungry chihuahua. I was at the gym and trying to do lunges in a little corner out of the way near a machine (gym is getting crowded). Yes, I know the machine right next to me was not being used, but this guy insisted on just not wanting to wait for me to complete 10 more lunges and asked to use the machine, which would make him literally inches from me. I told him, GIMME A MINUTE! K THANKS! RAWF!

My cousins both remarried in their late 30s/early 40s. They are both nurses and blonde skinny little things with children from previous marriages. They do very well for themselves in central PA. They both left their former husband/fiance to be with their new mates.

I told him I need more time. He said okay. Now he is upset with me and I feel bad about tweaking our plan. I am not Wonderwoman. He thinks I can hit the ground running when I get home. Maybe I can, but I don't want to. I am tired of stressing myself out over life. This is my fourth deployment. I think I have earned some relaxation time before I make the leap into quitting my career and moving to Manhattan. I need a drink.

I know. He is expecting me to do so much in such little time.
/r/RedPillWomen07/03/17 06:38 PM

He is so gun ho on getting me up there (understandable) but to do so requires me having a job. He makes just enough to afford living there. I can't get him to understand I just need more time. He thinks I am going to cause more unnecessary time and expense by 'relaxing' in VA.
/r/RedPillWomen07/03/17 06:34 PM
2

He says to trust in him, and I want to. BUT I only have the past few years of experience with his financial track record and it involves me as the breadwinner supporting us. It is too much for me to leap into this, but I am going to, I just need more time than what was agreed upon.

Hypergamy has been killing me as of late. I have spent almost six months overseas working with alpha males who flirt with me despite my being engaged. I know what they are after, so at least my desire to protect my long term happiness is keeping me from losing my mind.

I was just thinking this is a short list, sadly. I had a lot of trouble trying to find a man that matched this list, due to my limited choices in central PA while I was a full time college student as a veteran woman in her late 20s. My fiance is now just finally getting his shit together financially and beat his weed addiction. He has the alpha personality as an NYC attorney though.
/r/RedPillWomen07/03/17 04:21 PM

Financial independence. No addictions. Healthy diet and works out. People respect him and only playfully tease him. If he has a dog, the dog respects him and appears well balanced-not anxious because it does not trust his leadership or lack of.

It seems that we can get a house when we have kids. When we have kids-I have no idea. He is not ready. I am not worried about a down payment because as a veteran, I can get a home loan without one.

His parents and I are guilty of enabling him. He has never experienced poverty (I grew up poor) and has always had his parents around to help him. He asked about combining finances, but as newly engaged, I said we should wait until we are married on paper. I am fine with us sharing just expenses like bills and rent. Buying a house and having kids are another topic for later in life, too. He is happy with setting our roots in Manhattan. He feels that after several years of unhappiness in a crappy…

I guess I feel like it would look stupid just to move back after doing all that. Nah, it is stupid to stay with someone who makes you feel like crap. he keeps putting it into my head that I won't be able to find anyone else "as good as him." People who say that tend to be easily replaceable with someone a lot better. Finding a man who doesn't hamster his cheating by tearing you down is already echelons better than him. I hope you can find happiness.
/r/RedPillWomen16/02/17 10:17 PM

Why are you staying with someone who repeatedly tells you that you are not good enough? My heart hurts for you and my fiance would be hard nexted if he said such a thing to me to justify bad behavior.

Yeah, I think he just retained his urges. When he was being babysat, he humped my friend's cat who was in heat.
/r/RedPillWomen16/02/17 10:44 AM

I drove out to the boonies to pick him up and the owners were an older couple who also had a female Japanese bobtail. Yeah he was spraying the house and stalking me and trying to hump my foot. Now he is lovable, but he still humps clothes and stuffed animals.

Yeah it grows pretty quickly! He is a blue point Himalayan. I rescued him when he became an unwanted stud cat. He was an asshole, but after I got him neutered he has been my baby princess who cries for lovin.

Also, your friends might seem impatient if they tell you to 'get over it.' They are just trying to make you feel better, but it is unrealistic to simply 'get over it.'

New stimuli, routines, experience, etc. will help you get your mind off of him. There was a song I used to be able not to listen to because it made me think of an old boyfriend. Now I can listen to that song and not care. You will get there, OP. Don't rush yourself. Let your emotions flow and use the energy to make yourself better.

I am sorry to hear about this OP. How do you move on? You will move on. It takes time. You will cry yourself to sleep one night, then not cry for maybe a couple weeks, and then regress to crying yourself to sleep. It is okay and natural. You are in a state of mourning and only time can heal. You will learn to accept that he has moved on. You will move on, too. You will probably get your heart broken a couple more times. the ex said after 25 no one would want me F that guy. I lived in a college town for four years when I was 26-30. I was a nontraditional student because I had been active duty in the army. "Toughness (distinct from resilience) reduces a woman’s femininity, thus mitigating her desirability to men. A resilient woman can maintain her femininity and draw upon feminine strength without masculinising. Resilient women continue to build upon and maximise their femininity in spite of hardship. They do not give in to the corruptive allure of masculinisation and poison themselves with a lust for conquest. They expend their efforts on becoming personable, wise and altruistic. Deployed since October. I am so jealous you get to wear some nice lacey things this Vday. I may need to google how to do sex when I get home it feels like it has been so long ;*( I told my fiance I snapped my Tiffany's necklace that I wear everyday for casual clothes. Perhaps start from there: "DH, I cannot continue doing this." He might balk against it, but just hear him out and avoid fighting back. If he feels the heat from the fire of tight finances, his inner captain might emerge and he will start carrying more of the burden. Disclaimer: If he is TRULY an addict to video games, he cannot be in charge of finances.

Guys can be weird. My "lying about my face," hair extensions, and push up bra are what attracted my fiance to me. Now, he wants me to be natural and not wear any of those. He is not the one who has live life in my body, so I wear what I want that makes me feel good and confident, granted I don't look like a top-heavy clown or whatever.

Funny thing happened today. I realized I entered the wrong routing number on my federal tax return, and being deployed and not wanting to deal with calling my tax preparers/IRS, I asked my attorney fiance to help me out (brought him my problem). He called my tax preparer, who told him to call the IRS, who then gave him another number to call-he ended up in automated menu hell and ended up calling his tax preparer for help. I have two cousins just older than she is who are both recently remarried to high quality men. Granted, these men are divorced and have children from previous marriages, so do my cousins. My cousins are both blonde, athletic and tiny, so despite their age, their enduring SMV has helped them out. They are both very feminine and respect their men. Meh, if she is decent looking and has a healthy BMI, she should be just fine in the dating world. Just try not to shoot too far out of your league to avoid the risk of being plated. If you think your friend will benefit from the news, and you can sugarcoat it, then tell her. How old is she? I met my man at 30.
/r/RedPillWomen08/02/17 12:45 AM

First and foremost, I would recommend you bring up the notion to her that her options for LTRs decline as her age inclines; but at the same time, do not scare her into settling for some chump because of the wall. She can still LTR a high quality man as she ages, but she will have to search/work harder for it. She may have lost the luxury of just sitting there and having men always approach her. Post wall women can still have a high SMV, just not as high as it used to be when they were younger.

Hello. I agree that women will go for men for LTRs that are at least financially independent. But some women might sacrifice that if their SMV is too low and they trade in financial independence for other traits. Hypergamy is not just limited to financial status-a man being 'better' in education, looks, etc. could make up for a lower financial status. If a man is not financially as high status as a woman would like, but that man turns out to be a personal trainer who looks like a ripped Clark Ke…

Hahaha <3 Seriously. My fiance would have a candle burning, pizza and a bottle of my favorite cav/merlot blend ready for me when I would get home on the weekends. I would instantly overlook his dirty socks laying around in the living room. It is impossible to be mad about a dirty house when your man is shoving wine and pizza in your face.

Those hills are your friends! Where I was living in VA there were nothing but hills in our neighborhood so I would begrudgingly run those. I was slow AF, but come two mile run test for the army, I am able to run in the 14min range (passes on male scale, too). I would like to be thin again like how I was when I was 26, but people said I looked sickly when I went into my 130s (I hover between 144-148 at about 5'6" right now). I rescued a ratty puppy (mini poodle/Italian greyhound) when I went through a bout of depression after a break up with a cheating boyfriend. I would take him everywhere I went and people would approach me to pet him and he loved it. Be like a puppy-wag your tail and show people how happy you are to see them. A dog will waken your alpha, because a happy dog requires a calm, assertive leader. He also helped me lose 30lbs during my depressed fall-winter of 2013. We would go on adventures-hiking, jo…

OMG OMG a fellow veteran! Okay, so when you gain weight while you exercise, are you monitoring your diet? Some people think they can eat more when they exercise. Also, this is where the calories in < calories out expression comes into play. BUT all calories are not created equal. 100 protein calories requires the body to burn 30 calories to process versus 100 carb/fat calories. Your body wants to remain where it is weightwise if you have been at that weight for awhile. As soon as you dip under t…

I feel like it is one of the most effective ways of upward mobility in the US if you don't mind going to war. But yeah, the benefits are awesome. I got a free ride and then some for college, my healthcare is inexpensive, and I could go back to active duty if the job market tanks. I grew up really poor to a single mother/absent father and escaping poverty and becoming financially independent were highest on my hierarchy of needs. Don't be sorry, there is nothing wrong with wanting a relationship with a good man. I did not meet my fiance until I was 30 and the only reason I met him is because I ventured out of my huge college town (surrounded by either way younger than me college boys or local rednecks) to go out with coworkers in a larger city. I think our liberal society encourages this sort of behavior to animals and it's just another perversion that is a symptom to an even bigger problem. It's nearly always women who do this, and defective women who have issues building a relationship with humans because they need constant validation and control. One woman I knew personally some years ago springs to mind. Why am I picturing a late 30s/early 40s angry man typing away that rant under the guise of a young woman...

Why is everyone afraid of the wall like it is a boogeyman. I want to settle this wall thing once and for all. 'Hitting the wall" is basically comparing a 20yo version of yourself to a 35yo version of yourself given both versions of you have the same access to the gym, makeup, hair, clothing, etc. 20yo and 35yo walk into a public setting, and you realize 35yo might not be able to get as much attention as 20yo you. 35yo you is still attractive, and can attract men, but 20yo has the most options.

Hey, from a fellow RPW who grew up without a dad. I am listening to an audiobook called "The Fatherless Daughter Project." Your comments and advice must be useful and relevant to women, as determined by women. Avoid becoming an example of male human solipsism by giving advice that's an obvious disadvantage to the female, or how she can change to better meet your personal standards.

I really didn't mean to do it, but he heard it and got competitive. I do provide plenty of positive reinforcement-when he sends me pics after he works out I comment on how big he is getting and how awesome it is. I am going to order him some premium protein for Vday, too.

Well, I am not proud to admit this, but I may have inadvertently dread gamed my fiance when we first started dating. I work for special forces/ranger dudes in the Army and I made a comment to my fiance one day, "OMG they look like lumberjacks with their beards and big arms." It worked because he has become very diligent in the gym and downing kale/protein shakes these past few years.

I have been platinum blonde for six years and I agree the blonde does work wonders for increasing how much male attention you can get. Guys may say they like brunettes but a shining sparkling head of blonde hair catches the eye first.

I have been reflecting on this and I have read another post on here about female friends. I think another factor that bugs me is that I am not getting the reassurance of him showing me affection in front of her to discourage her. I have noticed it has been three months since he has last posted a woman crush/fiance crush picture of me on his instagram, which would ultimately act as a shut down to her.

Betas types can definitely be successful at their career. Your mix of alpha/beta qualities is dependent on what you need to be able to respect your SO. They need to be alpha enough to plate women over there. If you check out Married Red Pill, it highlights strategies for an alpha in an LTR.

RBF!!! LOL The only good thing about RBF is that you won't get premature wrinkles from smiling so much since you're not using so many facial muscles. I am a RBF, and the only reason I am engaged is because I had to approach my fiance.

Go on... You are in charge of your happiness and can only change yourself. There will be pros and cons of leaving/staying with him, so you'll have to pick which way you want to go and be ready to deal with the consequences. When I was in my early 20s and even WAY BEFORE RPW, I had to let go of a guy who wanted to marry me because I could not respect him because of his overwhelming beta-behaviors, even though he was a good guy on paper. He deserved someone who would.

Sometimes age is irrelevant depending on the man. If you filter out all men just based on their age, you might miss the one. Granted we are in our 30s, my fiance is almost two years younger than me, and that initially turned me off when we first started dating because I have always wanted an older man so that I would feel like the young woman. He has proven himself to be captain material; but that might not have been the case when I was 23 and he was 21. Ultimately, I think it depends on where y…

Try watching Younger. It is about a divorcing 40ish yo mom who pretends to be 26 in Manhattan. She scores a younger boyfriend who was okay with letting her cheat because she has never had a slut phase, and her alpha boss at work is overlooking all the younger women and chasing her.

My fiance's former boss has OCD. It made my fiance's job a nightmare because he could never do right by that man. I read in the Surrendered Wife, that if your husband says something that hurts your feelings, instead of escalating respond with an "Ouch" and leave so that your husband has to stop and think about what he said. I hope things get better on your end and keep us posted!

I don't have a favorite yet, but so far I am favoring Surrendered Wife and How to Win Friends and Influence Others. I am currently listening to The Fatherless Daughter Project. Very important, as far as self improvement.

Gotcha. But the chart still shows women prefer men around their own age. I guess what I am trying to wrap my head around is that not every man 30+ is going to get a 20-24 yo woman based on them wanting men around their own age. Not every post wall woman is going to get a man in her preferred age range due to men wanting women 20-24. Something has to give assuming everyone has the goal of an LTR? I think hypergamy, like other biological urges, used to be good as far as ensuring survival of the fittest, but might cause more harm than good considering society today. I compare it to how most people love sugary, sweet things. But now that same craving is what is killing us with obesity because society has advanced in terms of food production/availab…

My computer at work won't let me open the link ;< But my question remains: A 35-year-old man prefers a 20-23 yo woman; however, the 23 yo woman thinks that the 25 yo man looks best. How does the dating market reflect these preferences? Does the 35 yo man just not date if he cannot get a 20-23 yo?

I know men prefer women 20-24. But that chart shows that women prefer men around their same age. What happens when you combine these preferences in the dating market? There has to be some sort of compromise.

I have seen this chart many times. As much as men will be attracted to the 20-23 yo's, their chances of getting them must be dampened by the fact the women prefer men about one-three years around the woman's age.

Would it kill her to do the approaching? This. I had liquid courage, but I was the one who approached my fiance :) I think a lot of good men out there are too shy to approach women. You should see how guys' eyes light up in the my building when I approach them to share food (I try to get rid of my junkfood I get in care packages because I will eat all of it). I am pretty sure they are more excited about a woman approaching them instead of getting food.

I think the problems we're seeing today are rooted in economics -- the loss of blue-collar jobs to offshoring and automation Agreed. The author addresses this by mentioning that people flocked to towns where the factories/mines/railroads were hiring. But the town could no longer support them when these industries left. Only the educated and those with some money were able to leave these rust belt towns and the others stayed behind and basically had to endure the poverty.

Big congrats on taking steps on self improvement! You should celebrate mini goal accomplishments, as in did your average weight for the week end up being lower than last week's? They hand pick those kind of guys who have been deeply hurt in the past, and have this "I don't give a fuck" attitude, but deep down inside they crave attention like a 5 year old child. So they behave tough, and even abusive to their women. Yup. Guilty of this.

I think location is a major factor. I am a 10 while I am deployed (LOL, desert queen). I am an 8 in my Appalachia PO-dunk hometown. I am probably a 6 (with make up and and a nice root bleaching) at BEST in Manhattan when I get home.

Sort of a disastrous failure: My fiance loves how I cook bay scallops with wine, garlic and lemon. I accidentally poured red wine instead of white wine into the pan (guilty of enjoying the ingredients while cooking) and we ended up eating pink scallops that night. They tasted okay, they were just...pink.

Yeah, we take the dog for walks and go to the gym together. He will go off and do his routine while I do mine. I hate the gym but it is like my church I have to go to to get to heaven (enjoy looking at my body in the mirror). We go to the grocery store and have our cheat days together. Good for snapping back into shape after the baby! I am terrified of having children at my age, because I don't think my body would snap back. Don't be too hard on yourself. This resonates with me, as I am a recovering alpha widow. I took the frustrations I had regarding Chads in the office (I work in a hyper alpha-male dominated industry, so there are a lot of them) and used them as fuel to better myself and my relationship. I hit the gym HARD. I channel my attraction energy and use it on my fiance-which means I game him, pretend he is the Chad by sending pics, and ensure I do not potentially waste time on anyone else outside of work shift. All my time and energy m…

Is there sidebar material that helps with what you can do once you're an alpha widow? How I recovered from a break-up when I was 27: I made the gym and jogging an obsession so my physical pain from sore muscles would override my emotional pain. And looking at myself in the mirror was more fun. I traveled as much as I could with my friends and left my comfort zone to learn more about myself. I kept dating. Dates are still fun and enjoyable only if all you get out of it is a nice conversation. Recognize alpha widowism for what it really is-it is a high from your brain releasing dop…
/r/RedPillWomen29/12/16 11:51 PM

Well, more like 'tingles.' When you become Alpha-widowed, you long for that excitement you got from a guy(s) that are usually the type that won't commit (higher SMV than you). The guy who will commit usually is more equal to you and the excitement isn't as high. Passion in your long term relationship can be maintained but it requires work on both ends (staying in shape, gaming each other, investing time). Just my two cents as a recovering alpha widow.

Be wary of hot guys that game you-they might be above you as far as SMV but have no issue sleeping with you, just not committing to you. I wish I would've known about RPW when I was 18. I grew up without a father figure and my mom was not a good parent. Without any guidance, I was instantly shaped by society (hook-up culture and feminism) and made A LOT of bad relationship decisions because I did not know any better. I don't think 33 is that old. I am 31 and I met my SO when I was 30. He is 29. If you take care of yourself and exercise, you can pass for a younger age. Plus, you know how to be feminine to attract the masculine. I won't try to change your mind anymore, but it just seems to me you are being too hard on yourself. You're kicking yourself for your marriage you say you blew, I hope you don't kick yourself when you're 43 realizing you could've had another go at a relationship. Good luck :)

You know a cheat code to life and can find a guy-even one that is younger lol. I know the game favors youth, but there are guys fed up with younger women and only want older ones. That depends. If he is using his money unwisely, then I will state what I think once. Since he is a full grown man, he will then have to deal with the consequences later. He has not really done anything else-He has never acted like an asshole and is very nice, but not a push over.

I try to look cute as much as possible for him. I learned to be the stoic one during the passing of his cat-I wanted to cry, but I withheld emotions, and helped him get through it. The next weekend, I was rewarded with him being the first to say, I love you.

I am a bit frustrated I did not know about RPW when I was 25 and let myself become a plate of this 'alpha asshole.' Now I am 30 and am with a really awesome guy who deserves the best I can offer.

So, are there stages for women to go through when swallowing the pill?
/r/RedPillWomen15/08/14 03:43 PM

My boyfriend def misses me living at his place during the week because I would get home earilier from my old job and clean/cook. He can be a bit messy-I let him have my Roomba.

That's what I have read when an OP on TRP posts negative and angry posts about women.
/r/RedPillWomen12/08/14 11:24 PM

Oh yeah, def. I may have made the first move months ago to talk to him that one night, but since then he has been the hornball.
/r/RedPillWomen06/08/14 07:16 PM

Hahah he barges in on me when I am in the bathroom trying to put on makeup and straighten my hair. He just can't wait another 30 minutes.

I know lol. We have not really had our own fun for almost two weeks (Weekend before last I was exhausted from National Guard drill from being on the shooting range in the sun for two days, and last weekend he was a mess from the sick kitty). Last month when we were in NYC he was obnoxiously horny, so I think this will be a much better weekend.
/r/RedPillWomen06/08/14 06:40 PM

A weekend in NYC should cheer him up. He loves the city.
/r/RedPillWomen06/08/14 06:09 PM
1

He had to put his kitty down late Monday night. He seems to be handling the loss well, from the outside. He went to work the next day, and later that night told me he would have been embarrassed if I was there to see his meltdown. He seems worried about his masculinity right now because of his financial difficulties and the grievances of his recently deceased cat. I told him he is being strong, saying I would have never been able to have gone to work the next day if my cat died. He told me I am …
/r/RedPillWomen06/08/14 05:56 PM

Thank you. I see him this weekend and he wants to spend Saturday up in NYC. He seems to be doing a lot better, probably because he got to have his cat pass in his arms and this whole situation was not drawn out for months like it was for my cat who had a urethral obstruction.
/r/RedPillWomen05/08/14 04:32 PM
1

That's a good idea. He just got done with work and is heading over to see the cat. I'll tell him that tonight during our nightly face time.
/r/RedPillWomen04/08/14 08:58 PM
1

Thank you. I told him cats are tough little shits and I thought my cat was going to die but it pulled through. I am making sure I am not mommy, and he is calling his parents for support, too. I am telling him we will get through this, and to be strong for kitty, and that I got his back.

So many guys in the military who seem alpha at work end up with women with kids.
/r/TheRedPill01/08/14 05:58 PM
-5

My first sergeant in my national guard unit is an alpha. He may be a ginger, but all the females in my unit dig him (I'm guilty, too). He is engaged to a woman who is okay-looking, but she has three kids, too. She and them moved in with him.
/r/TheRedPill01/08/14 03:53 PM

Perhaps. But it seems like a ticking time bomb when the younger/equivalent aged guy realizes he can get younger chicks.

My dream is to get into threat economics. My forensic accounting class was challenging but I loved it because it was not your boring typical financial accounting class. I have 10 years experience as an intelligence analyst, and I hope to get into the threat finance field so I can actually start using my degree instead of just saying I have one.

I interned for a bullshit $9 an hour while I was a senior. Then I applied to some places that had entry level positions that ranged from $35K-41K. Like any profession, you will have to do your time to get to a more senior level. Go for positions that offer training and upward mobility. My friend from high school graduated from college in 2006 and is now a staff accountant-making $50-$60 I think. I am not an accountant right now-I blew off the interviews that week when I found out I got picked up…

Finance is more about investing and making decisions in the future based on accounting information. Accounting is more score keeping and analyzing transactions-and tax. I hate tax.

Accounting. There will always be a need for accountants. I had five interviews in one week for entry level accounting.

He is the most awesome boyfriend I could ask for. He is the perfect mix of alpha/beta for me. It's just this issue...
/r/TheRedPill30/07/14 08:10 PM

I think he is just lazy and I spoiled him. He knows I aim to please, and even if I try witholding, he will just feed me a bottle of wine. I love wine. He knows alcohol makes me sexually aggressive and then I take charge of sexytime and my drunk ass does porn star moves on him.
/r/TheRedPill30/07/14 08:06 PM
1

He's broke. I have seen the balance of his student loan thanks to college and law school. I do not expect luxurious dates, but since now we only see each other on the weekends, we do make it a goal to do something fun or romantic-ie, see a movie, good dinner date or homecooked dinner, go out with friends, etc. If he is actually as well off as those persons of whom you speak, he deserves an academy award for his acting lol.
/r/RedPillWomen30/07/14 06:17 PM
5

I can really agree with this. He does tell me all he wants is me to be there with him. It just sucks when he brings his financial hardships up because I grew up dirt poor and really feel for him. I will get groceries for myself while I am home (his place) and cook some big meals anyways. I am sure he'll view it as me cooking dinner for him like I have in the past.
/r/RedPillWomen30/07/14 05:39 PM

He kept mentioning he needs new clothes. And his birthday is in a couple weeks, so I thought new shirts would be a more appropriate gift for him instead of a weekend at the beach which I had originally planned.
/r/RedPillWomen30/07/14 05:15 PM
1

Yeah, I really want to do that for him this weekend. I had been living with him for a couple months while I worked at my national guard unit and would be home hours before he was-so I would have dinner ready for him when he got home, and I would clean his place for him. He let me live there before I got my dream job 3.5 hours away. We miss this arrangment, but the goal is for us to be living somewhere together (hopefully NYC) when he can land a job somewhere else eventually. He has been applying…

Many, many times, the man is finished before the woman really gets started. Many, many times, after the woman’s body gets going, she can be still humming along, ready to keep going but the man is asleep. These are both frustrating experiences for her. 2014 was my worst year ever. Meeting my boyfriend this year was the silver lining and I probably kept my sanity with him being in my life. I found a job 3.5 hours away from where he lives, and when I feel any stress, a quick text/thought of him makes me feel way better.

Same boat. My mom had me to "save her marriage" with a bad boy who already had a daughter from another marriage. My dad passed at 50 from issues stemming from drug use. I was notified on Facebook by a woman he was seeing who was younger than me when he passed. I got two deadbeat parents, yay. That meant at 17, I was in the army and had to put myself through college. Yeah, but at least you can get an idea of how the opposite gender is feeling about romance and relationships. I did not know how bad it would be to be a post wall female who is looking for a good guy. Luckily, my guy thought I was 24 the night we met. When I met his friends, they were astounded I was 30.
