Hi just asking what the general consensus is.

Background: My niece got married at the age of 24 ten years ago in the city in which she lived at the time which is where she attended university and met the guy she married. Nothing off in that.

They got divorced due to him having met another woman.

Fast forward ten years and she is living in a city hundreds of miles away.

She is getting married to her new guy in the SAME city where her she had her first marriage.

NONE of her immediate family live there nor his and yet again they have to travel hundreds of miles for her second marriage.

I'm not going and have politely refused the invite - I simply can't afford it this time ( cost me a lot before) and, to be honest, I've no faith this marriage will last. Her husband seems very meek.

I know they have a love of a certain product that hails from this area but this product can be found in OTHER cities.

I just find it weird.
