I’m 25M non-Christian who was raised in a conservative Hindu household. I live in Germany. I become an Atheist when I was 15 but certain things happened that made realize the power of faith which turned me into an Agnostic when I was 21 years old.

I’ve never smoked or drunk alcohol and I intend to stay celibate until marriage as my gesture of respect for my future wife. By the time I was 24, I had a masters degree and a well-paying job and I thought it’s about time I find my life’s companion.

Like most of us, I stepped into online dating and was aghast at the state of love. I may not be religious but I’ve strong conservative and traditional values. Soon I realized that most people have forsaken values and tradition and embraced the casual hookup culture.

Of the women I talked to, the ones who I felt shared my mindset and values happened to be strong Christians. I’ve deep respect for Christianity and, assuming I married a Christian, I’d love to accompany her to the Church. However, I’d not convert because that’d be forsaking my parents’ upbringing.

My apologies for the long post. Make no mistake, my intent is not to convince any of you to date me. All I ask is your advice on whether I should make an effort in dating Christian women or the fact that I’m not a Christian would always be a dealbreaker. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
