If you would be here long enough, you'd know that there is a gauss curve and of course there are smart and hard-working girls, but they are minority. There is a degree of generalization in everything we talk about, if you don't, there is nothing to talk about (but academic math). They can far more easily exploit the system and they do. Through divorces, employ quotas and every pussy pass method they can, because women are wonderful
AWALT: again, it's a generalisation and it talks about innate female behaviour, because of here biology, not learned stuff. There are girls that were raised good and learned right values, but their instincts are still there. They might never "use" them. But they are there. Like you have instincts to want to fuck a hot chick. Of course they are animals. So are we. Homo sapiens is in a part of animal kingdom. Are you denying that? We are walking talking monkeys, living in cities, pretending to be something more. Our instincts are driving us more than you and I would like to admit.
[–]Tyler1Wannabe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
I agree, there is a degree of generalization in everything. But you can't use generalization with everything, there's rules. Just like in maths you can't generalize a rule before demonstrating all the axioms that allow you to make that generalization.
Here's my view : all men could be smart and hard working but the majority isn't. Same applies to women. So if we want to be fair, which we should be, we can't generalize about women unless we do the same for us. And if we do the same for us, then we have to show the same level of "base respect" to a random woman than we'd do for a random man. don't you think ? I like the angle you took to answer the question.
Btw we are animals biologically but we do not behave like animals. Animals only follow their instincts and desires. Humans can reason and decide make a difference between whats right and whats wrong. We're more elevated than animals.
Edit : of course our instincts influence us in many ways, but they never take the lead unless we let them. Thats were reasoning takes the wheel to decide wheter or not we should follow them in any given situation.
[–]vorverk0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
we can't generalize about women unless we do the same for us
You're missing the point. Let me ELI5 this for you: Men are taller than women. It's a generalization. But we all agree, don't we? There are many short men and there are many tall women. There is a big overlap. But the generalization still holds. If you compare female/male gauss for height or intelligence, they actually look pretty similar.
About animal behavior. Of course we have more brain power and huge frontal cortex to make rational decisions. But don't go the "we are divine" - elevated rabbit hole. We are nothing special. The sooner you will realize this, sooner you will see how much of a instinct - emotion - irrational - driven by processes dictating our decisions subconsciously - animal we actually are. I suggest you open your mind to this idea and start reading about it. It's a fascinating field and you can control/predict your own behavior better if you admit to yourself how out of control you actually are.
[–]Tyler1Wannabe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Okay, but you still can't generalize on most women being incompetent or sluts. It's simply not true, there's numbers on that.
Also I never said we were divine, but we are special. There is no know species as complex as us. We're so complex, we have figured out our own brain yet.
Also if our subconcious instincts were influencing us that much, there would be no beta males, or they would never be able to switch to being alphas. Again, instincts influence us but not to the point that we can't take control back, that's just not true. As soon as you are aware that something is a instinct, you can control it.
Example : I'm instinctively scared of the dark, but I can teach myself not to be.
[–]vorverk0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Women are on average less competent then men and they like sex with chads. Nobody is calling them incompetent or sluts. Or we are, but its an exaggeration to make a point or from someone in angry phase.
Keep living in the "you are special" dream and your ability to see the world as is will be severely limited.
[–]Tyler1Wannabe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Listen, i'm not living in a dream, we're special, that's basic science. You can't argue against this unless you take it on a philosophical argument.
What I'm saying is, a women isn't less competent than a man unless it's a physical job. A man and a woman learn math in the same class, assuming they have the same degree of interest in it they can achieve the same thing and you can NOT argue against this, sorry.
Now women like to fuck Chads, probably. I mean, we'd all like to fuck Brandy right ? But the ones among us that have self-respect don't, that's the point, because we have values. Women can have values too. Exagerrating to prove a point is okay if you mention you're exaggerating, not when you say it likes it's an absolute truth.
If you disagree with me it's okay, you can have your opinion i'm not trying to force mine on you, I just tried to show my view of things and see what y'all think about it.
[–]vorverk0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
You came to TRP preaching the BP and social-liberal agenda.
Special in what way? Most complex? (Water Flea) Most powerful? Best memory? (elephants) Longest life? Most populous? Biggest brain? (sperm whales)... You've put the special benchmark on the things that humans do best. Yes, we are special in some ways, but underneath we're pretty basic biology, just lucky in some departments. We have many advantages, but we are not special on biological level. On philosophical, maybe.
A man and a woman learn math in the same class, assuming they have the same degree of interest in it they can achieve the same thing and you can NOT argue against this, sorry.
Yes I can.
[–]Tyler1Wannabe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I don't preach Blue Pill, I preach common sense.
How many species have built aircrafts ? A society as complex as ours ? Or just achieved our level of logical thinking ? None. We're "lucky" in the department that's the most complex : the brain.
Your link is the dumbest argument I've ever, ever seen. Women were physically refused access to school, how could they learn science and invent things ? If you kept Einstein away from school and told him he was only good to chop down trees, he wouldn't have discovered anything.
Here's a list of female Nobel laureats in Physics : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_in_science#Nobel_laureates
Notice that it starts around 1940, why ? Because that's when women, and only the priviledged ones, started to be let in the science community.
And since then, radioactivity, Kevlar, and a lot of maths work was done/invented/discovered by women. Meanwhile you haven't done shit, there's women smarter than you, and a lot of them.
You couldn't even read my sentence properly, I said that they have to be put in the same conditions, and you link a list of inventors that mostly lived between 1500 and 1800. That was the most idiotical answer you could have provided.
[–]vorverk0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Meanwhile you haven't done shit, there's women smarter than you, and a lot of them.
You are right. My argument was the whole time that all women are stupid and that I am the smartest person alive. The number of straw men you throw around in your arguments is making impossible to communicate. Enjoy your stay at TRP. Try to teach people after a week of browsing how they are wrong. Dunning-Kruger won't mind.

Give it 6 months of implementing some of the theory in your life, and if you still feel the same, come right back and tell us. You wouldn't believe how much your views might change if you apply and experience what you're reading on this sub.

You don't understand what AWALT means
Pump and dump feels bad?, so don't do it. Trying to convince others that is bad... really? Here? , i think you may go to -> TBP
Keep reading/lurking.
I'm not trying to convince people that pump and dump that it's bad. I'm asking is this really TRP mindset ? shouldnt discipline be a core value ? and if it is, then doesn't it go against it to fuck sluts just because you can ?
[–]RedPillStoryTime2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I think that we men should all strive to become the best version of ourselves.
I take it you read my post from yesterday, good on you. I would have assumed by reading it, most of your question, concerns and comments regarding our community would have been answered.
TRP is a community about self-improvement, helping reformed Beta males develop an alpha mindset and teach our brothers to value themselves more on their personal successes, rather than their ability to have a HB9 on their arm. If you just want to learn how to pick up chicks, head on over to seduction or PUA subreddits.
I think being a real man means having discipline, thus pump and dump shouldn't be a value endorsed by TRP.
Would disagree with you completely on the pump and dump premise and would heavily advise you to read some of the side bar material focusing specifically on relationship dynamics. The pump and dump mentality is prevalent here is because most of our community are single males, recovering from shitty break ups/divorces. They're re-building themselves and relationships are not on the radar. Pump and Dump is utilized here with plates because they are accessories to your lifestyle. Take tinderella's ass off the pedestal here bud because once she's gone, the RedPill will give you the tools to keep living your life.
If you want advice on how to conduct yourself while in a relationship my friend, head on over the the Married Red Pill, or have a circle jerk in the relationship sub.
Bottom line here is that if you're seeking guidance about becoming a better version of yourself, take a look in the mirror and seriously ask yourself what drew you to this sub? Do you want to improve yourself and your outlook on life? Or do you want to keep tugging your horn to that HB10 at the gym, while being a miserable prick?
If you swallow the Red Pill, you accept responsibility for yourself and your decisions. You lift weights because you want to. You earn your living because its the lifestyle you want to live. You hangout with your buddies because they positively contribute to your life. You have your respective hobbies because they make you happy.
[–]Tyler1Wannabe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I don't remember your username but I've probably read it. Anyways thanks for the comment it was insightful.
I wasn't draw in the sub, i found it randomly from a comment talking shit on it, and then found the subject matter of the subreddit interesting so I kept reading it.
I have a question though, why is pump and dump so important to rebuild confidence ?
[–]RedPillStoryTime0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
I wrote the post titled, "Become the Best Version of You".
Pump and dump has absolutely nothing to do with rebuilding confidence through TRP my friend. Re-read my comment.
Pump and Dump is utilized here with plates because they are accessories to your lifestyle.
Being able to fuck a HB10 is a by-product of having your shit together. You swallow TRP to become the best version of yourself, by gain a skill set to avoid being a Beta Provider. Again, most of the lads on here are single dudes, recovering from a shitty breakup/divorce where they were taken for a ride by their S.O.
Lastly, READ THE SIDEBAR MATERIAL, specifically the "New Here" section. I high suspect that you haven't read any of the material associated with this sub, thus the confusion regarding the pump and dump mentality.

If you see a lion or a tiger in the wild, would you see them as carnivorous predators, or the off chance that they were raised by humans to not see humans as another meal?
Is bet your ass you'd pick option #1. The same is with women, there might be a miniscule number of hard working, non fucked up, non slutty women that might be marriage material, but why look at the world with your rose colored glasses?
You could, but then you're just retarded, like that idiotic Chinese lady who decided to get out of her car in the middle of a tiger safari last year.
[–]sir_wankalot_here2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Don't generalizate about lions and tigers asshole
[–]WhorehouseVet1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sorry, didn't know each lion and tiger are individual unicorn. NALTALT.
That's a bad comparison.
If I see a tiger in the wild, I will assume that he is carnivorous, whatever his gender is.
In the same way, if I see a women, I will assume that she is a human : has a brain and knows what a good choice and a bad choice is. Being a slut is acknowledge in every society as being a bad choice, being hard working is acknwoledge has being good. So whenever I see a human being that seems to have been raised in the same environnment as me with the same main values, I will assume that he respect those values.
Example : I see a man at a bar minding his own business, I won't assume that he's an opportunistic manslut. I see a woman at a bar minding her own business, I won't assume that she's an opportunistic slut, unless something about her appearance or body language indicates that.
[–]fstrizzy1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
It does go a BIT overboard here. But for the most part I do agree with almost everything said about women here. I have seen it way too often and it becomes more apparent the older I get. It's never been any different. Women only want the popular, good looking guy. That's it. Nothing more nothing less. Fortunately you can become these things if you work for it. Some will have an easier path to becoming desirable but that doesn't mean that it's unattainable for people starting off lower in the ranks.
[–]Tyler1Wannabe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
It's often true, but what bothers me about that mindset is how narrow it is. Do men only want the popular, good looking girl ? Talking about settling here.
I might be wrong here, but I think the majority of men want a woman that isnt just good looking and popular. And if you agree with that, then unless 51% of women say otherwise, I think the majority of women want more than just a man that is just good looking and popular.
The problem with reducing what women like to just that is that you automatically degrade women, and that's the start of a toxic values.
Again it's only my opinion here.
[–]fstrizzy0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
In reality I'm pretty sure most men would totally settle for a decent looking girl with a nice body and good attitude. I know I would. Unfortunately that is not the reality we live in anymore. It's the women who have made it a living nightmare for us men, so we've had to adapt to their bullshit. They cannot be satisfied. They are programmed by Hollywood and social media to have completely unrealistic expectations. They are entirely ungrateful and insanely selfish. The degree of selfishness and delusion does vary from girl to girl. There ARE some good girls out there. But even those girls will show their true colors sooner or later. Some will be worse than others, but you must realize that AWALT. Every. Single. One.
You can be in great shape, tall, popular, rich, be an "alpha" and if a woman sees someone who is doing better than you in any of those areas she will immediately cast you aside in her mind and desire the other guy. She will still keep you around, but given the opportunity she will leave you at the drop of a dime to level up. Men don't usually do that. A woman will do it with zero regard for you as a human being and will more than likely forget about you in less than a weeks time.
This can all be used to your advantage. Go into every relationship knowing these truths and you will maintain control of your well being. You will have the upper hand at all times. There is no fairy tale. You have to create your own adventure and be your own hero.
You can call these statements truths, without proving them. There is MANY good girls out there, just look at all the couples that have been married for decades.
Even if you were right, that'd be society's fault and not women's.
[–]fstrizzy0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Whatever man. Good luck finding a good one. Truly. I know it's possible but from what I've seen my statements are true for at least 90 percent of today's women. Particularly my generation.
[–]jarjarbrooks1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It's as simple as saying "All tigers make poor housepets"
Just because you know a guy who has a pet tiger and it hasn't eaten him yet... and may not ever, doesn't mean tigers are not predators. They have to be watched every second and your behaviors around them are the only thing holding back their natural instinct to have you for dinner. Such a tiger-owner could even believe that his tiger "loves" him.
Understand that the same evolutionary biology is at work in women, and the minute you look like "prey" to them they will eat you without one second of regret, and you'll have begun to understand redpill and AWALT.

This belongs in AskTRP.
So I've been following the subreddit for a week
The OP is still deeply Blue Pill in thinking and just not ready to do a top level post.
As I recall about three years ago when I started here it was possible to restrict newbies from posting until some time limit passed.
I'd figure at least two weeks is about right.
[–]Tyler1Wannabe[S] -2 points-1 points0 points 9 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
1 week is enough to understand what TRP is about, what would another change ? As i'm posting this it's already 1 week and a half.
I made this post after a good amount of reading to understand TRP better and your answer to my question is "OP is still a beta and he's not ready.". Seriosuly ? You didn't respond to any of the points I raised in the post, not even a link. I raised these questions after having read the rules and a fair amout of posts and theory without finding an answer to them. Your comment brings no value, might aswell downvote me and move Mr. Veteran.

I've been using the TRP advices before i discovered the sub. Not to sound cocky but I am socially skilled and I had figured out shit-tests, power dynamics and all that long ago. That's why I think the TRP subreddit has some really good value within in ! The only difference between me and some of the dudes here is that while I know how to handle power dynamics between me and a woman an d decoding the mind games, I see it like a joust where I win or lose power over her. I don't see it like me manipulating women and their basic instincts because they are weaker etc, thats the part i disagree with. But the point of the post is, is that the TRP mindset or is it just personal to the posters ?
[–]Redteen2240 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Will you need a step to get off that high horse?
The idea of a joust where you win/lose power is just the frame-power dynamic RP talks about. That aside, the anger or bad-nature some TRP members feel is not the same as RP theory. And theory isn't always well-implemented.
You should also bear in mind, all social interactions involve manipulation on a constant level. You can't even have a conversation with someone without some form of low-level, even innocent manipulation. There is nothing wrong with manipulating people. There is something wrong with manipulating others in order to harm them.
That's right. The point I'm makign when I compare it to a joust is that I acknowledge the woman i'm flirting with as an equal. Of course manipulation is core to flirting and social interactions in general, but you don't "manipulate" someone that is your equal intellectual and someone that isn't.
The thing is I see a large majority of posts telling the story of how they manipulate women that trust them like they're toys. I'm questionning the ethic.
Would you be okay with a subreddit with posts like "Today I manipulated my 9 yo kid into giving me his lunch because I'm superior, what a simple creature" ? Because that's how TRP often looks like.
[–]Redteen2240 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Ahh, I understand your original point better. I am ethically averse to certain parts of TRP that are often practiced or at least theorised, so I do see your view, but I don't see it as my place to put my ethical standards on anyone else. Trp is largely amoral - some individuals definitely take things too far, but I hope you come to see that it's a minority if you stick around.
[–]NeoreactionSafe0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
There is the sub called AskTRP.
Look if we catered to every kid who had read a few Red Pill posts and wanted to boast of his knowledge we would not get any good posts here.
So we need to filter out newbies until they begin to demonstrate knowledge.
It's just the reality of a sub with 200k subscribers.
[–]KnowBrainer0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
That's been my experience with this sub as well. It's a pseudo-science cult that piggybacks masochism on top of self improvement. The average commenter tends to come across as a Chihuahua pretending he's a Pit because he read an article and feels empowered. Articles read like a Cosmo magazine. It's just ladyboys unhappy with the hand their dealt, trying to fight nature.

I've been following this sub for about a year and while I mostly agree with what I see on this sub, I agree with op. I've been thinking this for quite a while but just didn't know how to articulate it. Yes for he most part TRP is correct, but op is right here.
I realy don't think a week is long enough.
The Red Pill is very, very deep.

Concepts are generalized to make a point. There are of course exceptions. 1 week is too short to be posting off askTRP. It takes more than reading behind a computer screen to understand. You need field experience.
Some of the points you raise I agree need discussion. But this isn't the post to breakdown the exceptions.
I'm surprised this community survives being public.
I explain in another comment how you cannot generalizing certain things without setting boundaries in which this generalization works.
I also talked abotu how i'm already experienced in dating and have enough knowledge to back my statements.
[–]anooblol0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm no TRP endorsed, reliable spokesman for the subject, but I've been introduced to TRP for almost 2 years now. I've had the same thoughts, and the same issues with TRP.
At the end of the day, take this sub as a guide, and not as gospel. There's a lot of things I disagree with, and that's fine. Be a man and make your own decisions. If you don't like certain aspects, don't follow them.
I personally really like the self improvement attitude this sub has, and it really motivated me to change my life for the better. I followed the idea of treating women like animals, completely driven by instinct, and although it worked 99% of the time, it made me (specifically me) feel like an asshole. I don't like feeling that way, so I don't do it.
You're your own person, you don't have to agree with a movement completely.

[–]DJ_Aretino points points points 9 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
You have to keep in mind that this a subreddit for men. Posts here are about things that matter to men.
women are seen like animals here basically Yes, and there are valid arguments for that. There are also (equally) valid arguments for why men are animals, those just aren't presented here, because they're not useful for men who are trying to improve their lives.
In a parallel universe, this subreddit is populated by women and talks about how All Men Are Like That and what women can do to improve themselves etc. And everything posted there is about as true as everything posted here, but it's still only half of the truth.
Basically, don't fall into the trap of thinking that because there's less criticism of male actions here, that there's actually less about men to criticize. We just don't do that (as much), because that's not what this subreddit is for.
I get it, but I think that to better yourself you have to start with picking your own flaws.
[–]SasquatchMcKraken0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link
You've misunderstood AWALT. It isn't just about sluthood. It encompasses far more behaviors than a propensity to be easy and all girls will exhibit at least one or two of these behaviors.
As well as a tendency (not an ironclad checklist) you also need to see it as an anti-unicorn defense mechanism. We have a dominant narrative of "women are wonderful," and AWALT is there to remind you that, actually, they're humans too. They're fucked up, they like sex and not always with you (even if you're dating), they shit test, etc. They're not some angel from on high whom you're lucky to have, which is how a majority of men view this shit. So when a guy goes "how could my perfect Hannah do X to me!?!?" we can go "AWALT." It's best to expect it rather than get fucked up with a blindside.
As for instinct, I agree we aren't directed by our instincts. But we are shaped by them, and this can't be said enough. We live in a world where your gender is whatever you think it is. We've over intellectualized this shit, denying that evolution/nature/hardwiring has anything to do with anything. You yourself exhibit a bit of this with your false equivalency over pumping and dumping. In reality there's a huge difference between the man and the woman in that situation. They're not "both sluts." Whether or not you personally prefer LTR's over ONS's is an entirely different matter.
Does love exist? Of course. I love my family and I've loved every dog I ever owned. The problem is confusing love with lust, as well as overestimating how durable love between two unrelated people can be. The divorce rate in this country bears this out. So does the rate at which women initiate these divorces.
Valid points, but AWALT is different from Women Are Humans isnt it ? I guess I just don't like the formulation then, because it's misleading.
[–]SasquatchMcKraken0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
In reality it isn't. Trumpeting the imperfection of women is what passes for misogyny these days. It seems harsh to new people. It seemed harsh to me. I'm a natural optimist; I don't enjoy exploring the shitty side of humanity. But it's the truth. Like medicine, it tastes bad, but getting off the m'lady train is beyond worth it. In a sub with 200k+ subscribers and dozens, probably hundreds, of regular posters, dodgy shit is bound to make frequent appearances. So a bit of discernment is in order on your part. There are many here who, on finding out that women aren't angels, have decided that women are demons. But these guys aren't really RP, and are no excuse to tune out the basic truths of RP.
You're right, I realized that a lot of people here don't really get it.
