This reminds me of one the points in the Gervais Principle that mentions how the Office character Toby is one of the sociopaths.....but it makes him perpetually depressed. TRP is very much like being a sociopath. Sociopaths see people as manipulable semi-automatons who behave VERY predictably. They don't see the "magic" in others because its been ruined by rationally understanding how they tick. Instead of a close friend or cherished family member....each person is just a mathematical model to them. Like any knowledge....you can never un-learn it. Sociopaths can never go back to that naive, child-like wonder of social interactions....even if they regret and give up their use of that knowledge to manipulate others.

TRP is like that....and I know what you mean. Hell, its in the name. Neo's world got dark and awful after he was unplugged....and ours are like that. Yes....we know the truth. Yes, it helps us accomplish our goals. But the "magic" is gone. We've seen what's inside the magician's hat. We've seen how the sausage of social and sexual interaction gets made. There's something slightly depressing about that....even though we'd never really want to go back to not knowing.

Same thing happens in most pursuits. You play music long enough you start listening to something new only to hear "Oh, there's that same Chuck Berry lick...again..." The magic always will be the belief that things aren't the way they are. As soon as you take the time to learn about something the magic goes quick.

The reason why your emotionally drained is because your thought patterns were filled with negative affirmations. Just look at your writing. You wrote that bad things would happen to you and they did. Understand that those things are in the past. The world is a certain way. However in the future you will realize your potential and become what you want to be.

Fucking Cypher, man up and eat that tasteless porridge with a smile on your face.

But I know what you mean, though I live in the Ghetto, so a lot of black people are natural alpha (as opposed to TRP) so you can proper talk these things out with them. With natural alphas it depends on how DT they are as to how much TRP theory you can discuss with them.

Yeah that's how it feels most of the time, why don't you do something different and see what happens? make a new goal something you haven't experienced before, mushrooms, start planning a new trip, build something

"mediation"? What did you mediate and with whom?

Maybe you mean "meditation"?

He's mediating between the different parties in order to organise what they are going to do tonight.

I know what the author means. Other people seem to be like zombies. Predictable, acting on their own algorythms, being slaves of this world.

I feel sorry for them. They are locked down in their heads with desires, problems, pain, dreams. Lost like children in a dense fog. The hardest thing to realise is that you cannot unplug them. I wish I could unplug my father, but his cable is too strong.

If you are the best man in the room. Wrong room.

Push yourself. Get a social group where you as the alpha are average, there are those below and above you, and you have models to learn from.

Do not wallow in stagnation.

If one such group is not available, make one.

If such resources are not available to make one, move.

You can tell your buddies about trp, but trying to unplug them never works, there's simply too much information to convey and in the end you end up looking like an ass.

It is what it is. I've just started adopting a mentality that maintains if people aren't on my level, then I will either enjoy their company for the hell of it if we enjoy it, or cut them out if they're holding me back.

Most friendships are simply seeing a part of someone that you like and interacting with THAT part when the mood strikes.
