I ended up here after browsing the "new" section of reddit and decided to watch the show. Holy fuck is it good.

Yea, I'd say it is one of the best shows I've seen all year.

A really well put together explanation of AF/BB. I especially love the bits when he talks about how phee looks at jonas in comparison to liam.
There are lots of subtle as well as not so subtle cues as to what type of person jonas is. Think about the importance of that shot of the motorcycle. we only see it once, and even at that for a few moments.
on a side note, i'm willing to bet that the woman who was "gouged" probably did it to herself, or otherwise influenced the event because she realized how her memories could be potentially damaging.
It goes down better to hear that she didn't want to have it removed and that it was forcibly taken from her. our good friend stefan molyneux once said "most people will sell you a story of victimhood". what I found most interesting about this entire bit was the little quip made by the blonde woman near the end of it all "something something, hookers would benefit from not having the device"
I'm probably just rambling, but all in all, was a good watch 8/10 would recommend

Yeah, I would imagine that she got "gouged" under similar circumstances as the main character.

Yeah, I just recently watched Black Mirror and it's full of Red Pill. Especially that ep. 3.

The episode is called 'The Entire History of You'. It may become a movie.
From wikipedia's Black Mirror page:
In 2013 Robert Downey, Jr. optioned the episode "The Entire History of You" (written by Jesse Armstrong) to potentially be made into a film by Warner Bros. and his own production company, Team Downey.[3]

Just finished watching it. Damn that was good, you were right.

I was wondering when this topic would appear, I was thinking AF/BB the whole time I was watching that. Black Mirror is getting a lot of buzz right now so hopefully that episode will help get the message across to some people.

For those of us that don't watch tv, OP do an episode write up and break it down for us the redpill in this episode.
If RoK can write articles explaining the redpill truths displayed in some classic movies, you can do one with tv.

Here's an unofficial trailer of the show. Pretty powerful.

Black mirror is great. But talking about it has no place in here.

I agree that the season as a whole does not belong here, but episode 3 of season 1 does.

Actually, episode 3 really does. The rest, meh... Not so much.
Episode 3 involves a technology of recording all interactions in super HD with enhancement capabilities and a man using that technology to investigate subtle cues in his wife's behaviour with another man.
Its actually a pretty good red pill primer on a number of topics. IOIs, trickle truth, AF/BB and others. And it does it in a very well written way.
It's damn near sidebar-worthy

Works of fiction are not sidebar worthy.

The best fiction creates a lens that alters ones view on reality in a fashion that cannot be emulated in any other way. You would be ill advised to discount the relevance of something just because it is fiction

Learning TRP through a TV Show is like learning how to fly by watching Peter Pan, yes. There is no objective evidence that it works, only the director's opinion.
Movies and shows are how many men were indoctrinated with wrong ideas about love, sex, and women, yes.
That said... If a work of fiction is close enough to reality, it can serve as a tool to demonstrate things. Black Mirror Ep 3 is a very good example of AF/BB and trickle truth, and it's not the first time it's been posted here.
