It's easy to get lost within the discourse of ideas on the internet. Frequently we can find ourselves in a he-said-she-said pissing match -- a this side-vs-side narrative, fighting for the dominate message. One of the beauties of the internet is that every voice is equal -- each post or tweet is nothing more than a user handle, a text message, and that's it. It's an amazing platform for the expression of raw ideas, when done right.

But within this strength lies a very strong weakness: It lacks perspective. The problem is that anyone can say anything, and Joe's message is just as valid as Steve's message -- even if the subject is nuclear fusion and Joe is a 15 year nuclear physicist expert and Steve barely graduated HS who "allegedly" may have touched his younger cousin inappropriately at summer camp.

It's not to say that Steve isn't right when he has something to say on the subject, but let's get real, he probably does't know WTF he's talking about.

And I see this a lot on the internet. I see a lot of Steve's arguing with the Joe's, and sometimes there are so many Steve's arguing and agreeing with each other... Sometimes I can understand why people would start believing what Steve has to say is true. And ironically, the real problem is that the Joe's don't try to jump in the circlejerk and counter argue, because Joe know's Steve is an idiot, and realizes it's not even worth their time arguing with a bunch of circlejerking idiot Steve's.

I'll give you a good example of this: I saw this a few days ago, where a girl worked as a call girl for a few years -- making great money -- yet insisted she was a great woman. Meanwhile, tons of men and, presumably, women, jumped in reassuring her that only assholes would judge her for being a call girl in the past, and that it doesn't define her as person, and blah blah blah...

To an outsider, this narrative would be telling the reader that, "Hey, don't judge a cummed up slut for fucking a bunch of dudes for money!" That, it's socially acceptable for a woman to fuck a bunch of dudes. That there is nothing to worry about! Yet, I'm sure if you ever asked any friend about this subject in person, they'd almost universally tell you, "No way am I dating a former call girl. Not a fucking chance." Well, maybe except for Steve, because Steve is a fat neckbeard desperate for pussy, and he'll defend her because he'd be happier than hell to fuck that slut.

That's the sort of shit we have to deal with in the digital age. I don't think enough people here realize that much of the opposition are Steve. I can't tell you how many times I've talked to a hard feminist, BP, or whatever, only to find out they fit my presumption of a 130p 5'10 disgrace of a man who clearly doesn't have a mirror, or a fat landwhale blue haired woman who can hardly get her vibrator to fuck her. That this "counter position" are really the social bottom feeders punching upwards at the others who are doing better than them. To the blue haired lesbian pixywhale, maybe fucking 10 dudes in a bar is just "healthy exploration of her sexuality", so she'll argue it's normal to justify her lower status.

Don't feed into that shit. The same way you shouldn't listen to a poor person tell you that "Money won't make you happy" or "You need to learn how to enjoy the simple things in life". The problem is, we don't have perspective on many people's background to support their message, and fail to remember that the person on the other side of the screen is most likely a total fucking Steve; don't listen to a poor person for career advice as much as you shouldn't listen to a whale humper for sexual advice.
