10% is like the cut-off where you can regularly find girls to date/ hook up with. That's the bare minimum it takes to get noticed these days. Some guys do it by being tall, some guys do it by being wealthy.etc etc.

To be top 1%, you need a few things going for you. famous + jacked + tall, world traveler + PhD + good looking, black belt + doctor + family money.

Even then they're not noticing YOU. They're noticing your money, power, status. These are all circumstances in which we place ourselves, not the essential substance of who we are.

Still, they are attainable, and it is personally edifying to cultivate excellence, which BECOMES a substantial part of who we are, and subsequently puts us in position for various types of rewards. Do it for YOU.

Every graph we ever see (success, wealth, women) for men, has the same shape: it curves upwards.

In other words: results and gains are super-linear with quality and value.

This means that 10% better will always score you more than 10% better results. No matter where you stand as a man, from the bottom to the top, you will always get great value for the effort you put in.

I don't even seen top 10 or 20% as something measurable. It's an idea to strive to, something that is theoretically obtainable.
