Can you expand on your reasons for wanting to meet face to face to discuss things? by the point you told her to come over, she had already shat all over you from what I can see, so I don't get why you didn't simply soft next her at least. But your recollection is a bit vague there, so maybe you had your reasons.

At what point is her (or any girl) finding a condom in the trash considered 'cheating'? I'm not disagreeing at all that it (obviously) creates dread, but in this case it's almost rubbing her face in it.

She is a plate, nothing more. But in her eyes, it's definitely more. Did you ever talk about what you two 'were'? Or is it safe to say she just assumed you two were exclusive? So in the case that your relationship with her was never defined, what would be wrong in addressing the condom issue with the "but we're not exclusive" speech instead of outright not addressing it?
