I was browsing jobs in my town and I was shocked by the fact that more than 80% were accepting only women and the rest of 20% were for men but only in construction and Truck driving

You were trained to supplicate to women , you were trained to be a beta - the legacy goes on. How are kids nowadays trained into pedestalizing women

"Ortega is essentially restating Nietzsche’s contrast between the “overman (Alpha)”—the man oriented to constant self-surpassing—and the “last man (Beta),” who is characterized by complacency, contentment, and inertia. The noble soul—a soul open to and oriented toward ideals—is the essential characteristic of the true aristocrat. By contrast, mass man is characterized by a soul that is “closed” to anything lofty and ideal. He does not guide his actions by looking up (to the ideal), but by looking down (to appetite or expediency) and to the side (to the opinions of his fellow mass men). Because the noble man orients himself by ideals, he is perpetually dissatisfied with himself and strives unceasingly for perfection. Because mass man orients himself by appetite, expediency, and opinion, he is characterized by smugness and contentment. Noble man’s orientation toward ideals that transcend the present gives him an external perspective on the present. This grants him a measure of intellectual liberty: relative freedom from prejudice, opinion, and convention. He has the courage to think for himself. Mass man, by contrast, has no critical distance from the present. Hence he tends toward relativism, jingoism, conventionality, and conformity. Following Nietzsche, Ortega holds that human vitality requires striving for transcendent goals. Noble man, therefore, is truly alive, while mass man is decadent and devitalized."

Looks like the OP was removed for not following this strict new Essay Format rule. I'm not a fan of this decision.

Try "Beyond Good and Evil". Do it a little at a time and jump around non-linearly. It's kind of fun that way.

Great post, I went beta On some but mostly alpha, so not a complete alpha isn't alpha, I will re read this a lot

Good post. This is a really good measuring tool to see where we stand in this regard. Being "alpha" or "beta" is a spectrum, and is not black and white like many think ("Oh I did this, I must be a beta."). If you do one of these you are not by definition an "alpha" or "beta", if you have a lot of these qualities that lie on one side of the spectrum, then you can call yourself an " alpha" or "beta".

Label the summary up top and lessons learned at the bottom. Follow the format instructions in the announcement:

Thanks for sharing. I'm just starting to digest TRP and this has some good info. What I am gathering from it is; own every situation, good or bad.

This is a blue pill post down to every last bit, while a few alpha triats are red pill this is not

Beta male: Makes excuses. Every time there's something he can't do, he has an excuse, and feels like he needs to explain it to those around him.

Its very important to understand not getting women is not a indicator of a serious character flaw. In fact I know plenty of Beta's who are hard working and plenty of alpha's who can't get a job.

Alpha male: Is always dressed to kill, and groomed well. He has superior etiquette. Think: James Bond.

So wrong, while dress is attractive it has nothing to do with alpha indicator but more of a status indicator.

Decent list overall, I would probably disagree with

Alpha male: Is always dressed to kill, and groomed well. He has superior etiquette. Think: James Bond.

Whilst I agree that an alpha often has a drive to achieve and thus will do what it takes to achieve, such as dressing well, I still wouldn't call this an alpha trait. there are also lots of beta's who spend far too much time on how they look, not realising that is actually part of their LACK of success. (This is coming from a guy that does look sharp most of the time actually)
