I don"t like that expression myself either, but I can understand the thinking behind it because I"ve been hurt too. I can"t be responsible for other people"s morality standards. I can only take responsible for the way I handle things and let others handle theirs their way. I don"t consider myself alpha at all. I do hope though that it is possible to be alpha and still get to keep morality standards not set by either extreme. I frequently battle and try to convince myself that it"s possible. About standing up against them: This may sound like a bad excuse and it might as well be, but I am not strong enough for that. I have severe anxiety and depression thanks most importantly to myself and a pretty brunette who thought it was fun to keep me close and made herself feel better by bringing down my self-esteem and confidence. I learned from that though, and now try to be my own man without hurting anyone else, because I know how that feels.

Maybe "standing up" was a little but strong to trigger a response. So let me rephrase it in the following way: I think it is important to know what is right and what is wrong. That "plate material" is wrong is not just a subjective morality. When to speak out or not depends on the person and situation, which is completely fine.

(And by the way, and as far as I understand it my view is exactly in line with the red-pill philosophy described in the sidebar. I'm quite sure I read somewhere to be respectful.)

Yes, anxiety and depressions are obviously not good. And having a healthy self-confidence is good. BUT: The most successful people on earth hat serious anxieties and drepressions. Obviously it decreases the quality of live, and self-confidence is helpful in many respects, BUT nevertheless, at the end all this doesn't matter. What matters is what you do with your life, following your passion.

For me I definitely would prefer to have anxieties and depressions but do something in my life and in the world out there than being a happy simple-minded person living in a tiny universe.
