This is a nice find, and an exciting article.

Been doing some searches myself regarding the term "locus of control (LOC) and gender differences" that i feel relevant to this subject aswell. Men and women show different placement of internal and external locus of Control. Women tend to place the responsibility for their own behavior in their environment (external locus of control aka hamstering), leaving them with less blame and the ability to Write of their responsibility for events. Men on the other hand attribute more internally, leaving us to see our selves as a result of our own actions.
