I agree but have noticed it has gotten weirdly redpill as of late, at one point Leonard asks Penny during an argument what she brings to the table apart from sex and she shuts right up.

You know it's funny because it's produced by the same guy who did 2 and half men. 2 and a half men used to be basically the only show on TV that was a safe place for men, and then charlie sheen gets replaced by the hack Ashton Kutcher and it becomes some totally dickless Big-Bang-Theory-esque show, in which the only masculine character in the show is replaced by some floppy-cocked polar-opposite. So, in summation, both those shows eat shit. The Big Bang Theory was actually great for a while, despite all it's beta qualities, because it addressed issues of science, but the writing on that show has become so dog-shit-terrible that it's unbearable to watch.

I had the same experience with the same show.

There was one scene in the series that they underlined the fact in one episode that Penny was just using the guys for various favors. When they introduced "competition" for their attention (i.e. a hotter looking blond moves into the complex and gets the same treatment) she goes all out to try and regain that lost attention and even gets into a fist fight with the other girl when she dared to call her on running the same game. They kind of sweep it under the rug after that point and things go back into la-la-beta land.
