I hate when people try to justify the "friendzone" and say shit like "friends are awesome!" "What's wrong with having a friend?"

I've never been friendzoned (lucky me) but I imagine it's like being a homeless guy and coming across a steak, but it's inside of a room you don't have the key to. There's this big ass window, so you get to stare at the steak all day, but you can't eat it. Every once in a while, someone with a key comes in and takes a bite of the steak and you can't do anything but watch or move on.

As long as you don't orbit her or pay for her then it can be good to have female friends as social proof when flirting with other women. Don't think being nice to women will get you laid.

To be honest, this isn't that bad.

She isn't attracted to him, but she isn't trying to lead him on, or make her an orbiter friend who pays for shit.

She seems a lot more decent than most other women, and there's nothing wrong with having some female friends, they just aren't the same as male friends.

And yeah, you can totally read between the lines on the 'it was mutual' thing, I spotted that as soon as I read it.

Cliffs: went on 3 dates, she friendzoned him and came clean about not being attracted to pathetic beta game (yet).

Now if that isn't the most pathetic BP spin/acceptance thread I read this month, I will be shocked. And he's actually going to go to the game.. I want to laugh but the cringe makes it impossible.

In a more perfect world, it could be a good thing. If women could be counted on to be a decent friend, and not use and then discard the man at her whim, it could be a beautiful thing.

Unfortunately, women are not wired like that. If you settle for less than you desire, women will take advantage of it every single time.
