I’m interested in how you guys utilise comedy as part of strategy, If you do at all. Obviously, there is normal 'banter', but I'm talking about making people laugh and feel good in your company.

The legendary Christopher Hitchens made it very clear: it's not that women can't be funny, it's that they don't HAVE TO BE FUNNY, hence why there are so few decent female comedians compared to male comedians. Men can use comedy as a mating strategy if they do not show immediate signs of alpha male dominance.

I’m not talking about going up to people with a pre-rehearsed joke book in your head like some fucking asshat. I mean having the ability to make off-the-cuff witty comments or to satirise a situation when the moment presents itself.

Personally, this has worked well for me over the years and I’m convinced that there is an evolutionary advantage to it. If you aren’t Chad, be quicker on the awesome comeback than Chad.
