I don't think this is a bad thing on it's own, but what struck me about it is how it doesn't address the real problem of convict dads + single mothers.

The Japanese evolutionary psychologist who got banned from publishing on several psych sites maintained that men in prison are actually more likely to have kids. In this case he could not provide the stats to back up his theories.

But his scenario went like this :

Chad Thundercock doesn't like working since it interferes with his hobbies. To get money he sells ectasy to teenagers. Occasionally he spends stints in prison but when he gets out he bangs like 20 to 50 women each time knocking half of them up.

Chad doesn't use condoms since he doesn't give a shit if he knocks the chick up. And if he gets an STD, well he can get it cleared up in that next two year prison stint that will be coming up.

I agree with every comment here, plus one. Unlike the military; prison widows get to visit their man once in a while(without sexual release), they get letters daily because he's bored and horny. So this is a case of absence makes the heart grow fonder.. They have time to forget what a piece of shit boyfriend he was. Coupled with the nurturing nature of women, throws them into full alpha widow mode. The part that most people don't see at face value is that, in the end, it's all about the womens' need. They always the easy answer, but never a solution.
