So you've helped yourself.

You'll be looking for a good girl

You were going well until that moment. Then you went into fantasy. When a man realizes TRP he realizes the nature of women and changes his objectives, and more importantly, changes what he's offering. He improves himself, but he puts his shields up. Where once he was offering everything he had, now he's offering just what you see. He'll improve what you see to improve his success at achieving his objective (sex with desirable women) but he's no longer offering the full commitment package and there is a good chance he will never offer marriage.

the true good girl won't want you

When a man realizes TRP he realizes that there are no "good" women, just attractive women. Women offer "good person" qualities when they have literally nothing else to play on (which is why feminism is so perverse because it tells lower attractiveness women to throw even that out the window leaving them with nothing; as if it was systematically designed to leave low quality women with no choice but embracing lesbianism).

That is another one of the feminism mantras.

Everyone is equal. Good looking has to have an ugly personality. And that fatty is awesome. In the end their "human value" equals out.

That is why feminism tells nerds that it is ok to suck at sports. You have other talents, it equals out.

The reality is. That is a nerd: https://mshades.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/young-neil-degrasse-tyson.jpg?w=300&h=196

There is no excuse to not level up. You are smart and have a great personality? Great, now go lift and get that banging body to top that of. Guess what you are now above almost everyone else. Humans are not equal. Some are just worth more, sometimes a lot more. And you can always work on increasing your value.

I've always considered personality and looks to be interlinked.

They are not. I can demonstrate very simply that there is no correlation. Visual physical attractiveness is a bell curve, people vary from being attractive to being average to being unattractive.

However, ugly, overweight, undesirable women are often have acidic, bitchy personalities because they are angry, and super attractive, highly desirable women often have acidic, bitchy personalities because they feel entitled and the world of desiring men lets them get away with it.

So, if both outliers have bad personalities, and yet attractiveness is a bell curve, there can't be a direct or even inverse relationship between looks and personality.

I suppose it's possible that there's a relationship where the closer to the average of attractiveness a woman is, the more she'll exhibit positive personality qualities in order to raise her overall desirability, but if that is the case, it would support my view that women adjust their behavior to give themselves a competitive advantage besides looks.

That might be how you perceive it but it's not how men perceive it.

Women simply do not understand how loud physical attraction is in the male mind. If they did they never would have stopped using corsets.

Think of it like this. Attractiveness is a whole number scale of 1-9. Personality is a decimal scale from -1 to 1. Having a good personality can make a 5 into a 6 but that's it. Having no looks and a terrible personality can make you a 0, and having great looks and a great personality can make you a 10. This is a good approximation of how much weight personality is given relative to looks in the male mind.

Dear Ms "Nice Girl", I do see your point.

However, while I may have overlooked those girls you speak of, they where as afraid of their feminity as I was of my masculinity.

I must say though that where I have at least tried to become more square jawed and decisive and whatnot, not a lot of these nice girls where so kind as to develop buns of steel and to present them properly so that their exterior would represent their undoubtedly awesome inner self.

So, I would ask that you make yourself fuckable, because otherwise I will be forced to friendzone you.

It cannot be helped, my penis is a cruel master.

Or at least a goddamn idiot with a strong veto power.

CHAD! I f*cking hate Chad!

:D

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

According to OP's description good girls are fat and ugly. They've been ignored their entire lives so they surely can't be attractive, right? And apparently they're really resentful because guys were more interested in the blondes with boobs instead of them. But how is the blonde with boobs any different from Chad the quarterback? How is the ugly good girl any different from the "nice guy" her letter is addressed to? They aren't. They're the same basic characters in the same whiny narrative. The difference is that while the "nice guys" have learned from their mistakes and now work on increasing their SMV through lifting, buying nice cars, and apparently neck-shaving, the ugly good girl is doing what? Trolling online in an attempt to shame those guys into settling for her by telling them that they are just "bitter over their own entitlement?"

No, ugly resentful good girl. We will do whatever the fuck we want. Because we run the show. You can have my pity but you can't have my dick. Run along now, chubby.

So you think ugly and unpopular girls who are resentful over being ignored are what we would call "good girls?"

I'd call them bitter assholes.

See the difference between you and us is that we don't blame girls for wanting to fuck Chad the quarterback. We accept it and we try to raise ourselves to the level of Chad (and beyond) so they'll want to fuck us instead. You on the other hand are so jealous of the blondes with boobs that you've allowed yourself to become spiteful and resentful. And rather than hitting the gym and trying to raise yourself to the same level as those sexy blondes, you've resorted to trolling men's forums online and trying to shame them into wanting you by calling them "muppets." You sound pretty fucked up, girl. Go hit the gym, get on a diet, and try to make yourself adorable if you want to be adored. Quit taking the lazy route of blaming everyone else for your own misfortune.

There's a transition phase that we recognize guys need to go through when it comes to swallowing the red pill. They start off being resentful of Chad the quarterback and bitter towards all of the women who want to fuck him over them. This is a place where they can express that anger but the goal is for them to get past it and accept that through focusing on self-improvement they can achieve their goals.

Judging by the content, tone, and intent of your post you are not even remotely satisfied with your relationship if it's even true that you're in one. Imagine a beautiful and motivated woman who is dating an attractive and powerful man. Now imagine her trolling /r/theredpill and calling guys "muppets" who are just "bitter over their own entitlement." Sounds crazy, huh? That's because it never happens. More likely you aren't very attractive and were ignored throughout high school by the guys you were attracted to. And when you did date guys, they were ugly losers who were the best you could get. You are the female equivalent of "a nice guy" and you're resentful because you feel like you deserve more. If that's true then I recommend you stop wasting your time and visit our sister sub /r/redpillwomen

Attractive and happy women don't waste their time trolling on the Internet.

I'm sorry but it's quite obvious that you're lying. The thoughts and attitudes that you've expressed are not those of an attractive woman.

If you didn't care what others think then you wouldn't have posted this thread in the first place. Everyone cares what others think, especially women. If you can't at least be honest with yourself then you're doomed to a lifetime of mediocrity and disappointment.

Now I have to go improve myself. I hope you do the same.

Women tend to care a lot more about what others think of them than men do. Here you are getting upset over what men are saying about women on the internet. Look up "self-reflexive." And calling our assessment of you "hate" is just a thought-terminating cliche typical of a lazy feminist mind.

And believing you don't need to improve yourself tells us more about you than you know. You're complacent yet resentful. That's an attitude of entitlement in a nutshell.

[–]TheSKSpecial 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Half the posts on here are full of bitterness about girls not wanting you

Not really. You've got a lot of posts about girls lying, girls cheating, girls doing things to screw men over, not so much bitterness about not being wanted.

The ones that do show up here complaining about not being wanted all get responded to the same way: "when you're done crying, read the side-bar and get up and do some shit that ups your value."

So for you, I advise the same. If you're a "good girl" upset that men want more attractive and popular girls...you can either get more attractive or get more popular.

If all you're looking for is woman hating, and all you assume is going on here is woman hating, that's all you're going to see.

As far as "unscientific", not exactly sure how you reached that conclusion seeing as when studies are posted they followed the scientific method.

It also wasn't presenting itself as a scientific study, just an observation. One that men have noticed for years but never actually put into words.

I say men, because women aren't able to have that same perspective. No, that doesn't make women "inferior", it makes them different.

Not a bad read, certainly not aimed at the wrong people, and certainly not wrong. Except that part:

She's fed up of having been ignored in her late teens and early twenties too.

That's where the "nice guy" and the "average girl" differ. A girl - she doesn't have to be pretty, as long as she didn't fall from the ugly tree (and even that isn't necessarily a criterion for exclusion) - who wants a relationship can have one. Without having to do something on her own. Probably not with the best-looking and most popular dude, but there will be some guy out there who may give it a shot, and approach her. And odds are she'll still reject him because she won't settle for someone who doesn't give her the hots.

No, but really. Let me tell you of a friend of mine who I've known for 20 years before we lost contact. She's average looking - not great looking, not ugly. She's.... well, childlike: Immature, easily frightened, awkward, clueless, a crybaby, and on top of that more or less asexual. And annoying she could be, hooo boy. It's not as if she wasn't likeable or kind, but annoying nevertheless. Sounds like a real catch, doesn't it? And yet she managed to have several relationships, some of them even lasted several years. In the end they fell apart - the asexual thing tends to do that - but nevertheless even she managed to get guys who were willing to commit to her, without her having to do much except, well, not treating them like unwanted stalkers when they first met. At the same time I could tell you about loads of guys I know who were a lot more well-adjusted than she ever was and probably ever will be and still they would have to work hard to score with a girl; and more often than not with one who was objectively below their league.

So pretty please with sugar on top don't imply that the life experiences of the uncool 80% are even remotely comparable on both sides of the gender fence, because they aren't.

See, what you're doing here is called the "apex fallacy". What you'd consider "unlucky in the looks department" for a man is usually far from what a man would. A man you'd consider "average" is what most men would probably say is "decent" or better. So you're completely ignoring the truly unattractive men, because you don't notice or remember them.

"Unlucky men" in the looks department get ignored. Period. They aren't getting laid, which is why you have the whole incel/"nice guy" issue to begin with.

We are talking about general attractiveness here. Hair/eye preferences are extemporaneous. Blue eyes or long hair don't move you from being a general 5 to a 6 or 7.

[–]Senior Contributorexit_sandman 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago* (8 children) | Copy Link

Hoooo boy cupcake you have no clue.

The thing about the looks. From what I've observed so far, apart from the truly unlucky ones, between the ages of 15 and 25 specimen of both genders may at the very least look decent IF they put the necessary effort in it. What's "effort"? Well, apart from the usual (dressing, haircut, cosmetics), there is the little thing called "being in shape". So yeah. http://i3.asn.im/Amount-of-work-required-to-look-good-_tsrs.jpg

Now assuming we've walked the extra mile and have gotten in shape, let's get to the most common dating problems. http://static.fjcdn.com/pictures/Problem_880cb3_1803356.jpg Interesting. One might think that women in their teens and twens are in a buyer's market when it comes to relationships and/or intercourse. The thing is: Women can be found. They don't even have to settle for less than they represent themselves (objectively speaking), they just have to wait for a guy who is willing to approach her. However, the same doesn't work for boys, who have to actually put working into it. For every girl that accepts a date, several others have declined it. And this also applies to dudes who are willing to go for a girl that's not more or less prettier than themselves.

Bottom line: Under normal circumstances in our times (living in an area with enough people of the same age and being allowed to see boys), a young woman who has never had a relationship has made the decision to do so one way or another - either by voluntarily abstaining herself from entering one, by reaching too high, or by discouraging potential suitors (actively shunning them, being so incredibly shy that it alienates them before they take action, displaying a severe lack of interest etc.)

Edit: Oh, another thing: Guys that are unlucky in the looks department have infinitly worse chances to get laid than unlucky women do unless they can make up for it in some way. Unattractive women who are willing to have only sex without any strings attached can have that - and probably even with guys who aren't that bad themselves. Believe me, I know what I am talking about.

So really for guys, upkeep is simpler. Trim the beard. Shower. Teeth clean. Deodorant. Jeans and shirt. Done.

You think this sub would exist if this is all a man had to do in order for women to find him attractive?

Merely being presentable in society for a man doesn't make him attractive, which is what this whole discussion is about; attractiveness.

[–]Senior Contributorexit_sandman 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

I know tons of girls who are repulsed by the body builder type, myself included.

I've heard that more than once. However, in my experience "bodybuilders are repulsive" has to be taken with a huge grain of salt since many people seem to have a very particular idea of what a bodybuilder does and does not constitue. Especially women apparently think of guys like this one http://www.bodybuilder-photos.com/galleries/2003/2003-11_dorian-yates-grand-prix/images/bodybuilder_a-IMG_0364.jpg when they're voicing their displeasure. However, someone like that one http://www.carlosserrao.com/__wp_admin/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/OUTSIDE_T_HARDEE_SHOT_1_CVR_0103_rgb.jpg for whatever reason is something entirely different. Guess what? That guy is a bodybuilder too; having the shape of a decathlete also requires loads of effort (certainly more than having a 20ish BMI).

Apart from that, even though men are a lot more vocal about their preferences for looks, women with below average looks can still get lots of tail if they're inclined to do so. If they're somewhat realistic they can also have a relationship (see above). Women on the other hand are a lot less upfront when it comes to their opinion on looks (I've heard/read "looks aren't that important" more often from girls than from boys...) yet I hardly ever see a fat guy or otherwise unattractive guy with a girl (and just sex without a relationship is totally off the table for them anyway, but we already knew that).

[–]Senior Contributorexit_sandman 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Are you kidding me? Women have to do tons to look good. Hell, if I showed you a picture of me with no 'add-ons' whatsoever, and then one of me dolled up ready to go out, you'd know what effort meant.

I am talking about long-term effort; dolling yourself up is something you do on a need-to-do-basis. Can you stop putting makeup on for a month if you don't go out? Yup. Does the same apply to lifting? Nope. So, unless you're out two to three times a week, it doesn't really come close-

By the way, as you mentioned that you were objectively attractive ("I'm georgeous"). In that case, you are clueless by default when it comes to gauging what guys can or can not do. To be honest, I have to say that your statement here has a certain "let them eat cake"-vibe to it.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
