So, I do well with girls, but I have difficulty making and maintaining male friendships, and I'm not too certain why. It's not any one thing I can pinpoint, but I can definitely tell that it's me, not them.
On paper, I have everything going for me; I lift, do kickboxing, am in Medical school, have many hobbies, and I can make people laugh. I put myself first (obviously), don't let people step over me, and usually achieve for the top. However, despite these qualities, I don't seem to have what people crave in friendships, or I turn people away. I try talking to people too, it's not like I keep to myself, so I do open myself up. But what seems like a good conversation goes nowhere.
Any thoughts, ideas, or criticisms would be greatly appreciated!
