Also, its a lot easier to start RP fresh with a new girl than convert from BP to RP in the middle of a relationship. Too much cognitive dissonance fucks your frame just as badly as being beta all the time.

theres a difference between being cruel and putting your needs first. sounds like you need to work on your social calibration and emotional intelligence.

in addition, once you define your boundaries, you have to be willing to walk away from a relationship amicably.

also, relationships in america in 2013 are a poor gamble. but to each their own.

The way I do it is just keeping in mind that I dont give a fuck. I am still nice and respectful, but I will not go out of my way to do things for her that she can do herself. I am still helpful to my friends, so I work it like that. The moment one of my plates starts to expect me to do things for her, or stops giving up the pussy is the time when I ditch her ass and find a replacement.

No need to down her all the time, but you should only praise her when she earns it. Think of her like a little kid as far as mentality goes, and you really dont want to make them cry or harm them, but you wont let them control you and run your life.

You'd be surprised by how much faking women can do as well. Faking being hurt can be a shit-test many of times:

If you apologize and hold her shit, you fail the shit-test. I'm just trying to say that when you've been relatively beta for a while with a girl and suddenly implement more RP stuff, she will get a bit shaken and shit-test you to see if this is the real deal.

Most of us had trouble with the transition. I remember I lost a few friends back when my transition happened because they were so used to my beta self and the cognitive dissonance was too much for them. I suggest you meet other girls and practice practice practice. All your brain needs is proof that it works and it will naturally help you and mold you into a more RP man.

It's actually a better strategy to occasionally be an asshole. Doing so creates drama in the relationship, which is always preferable to always being comfortable and pleasing.

Test the boundaries. Hurt her feelings sometimes. Make her upset. You'll reap the rewards.
