For the most part, yes. Sex and sexuality drives our society and the economy. I had an interesting conversation about this at a halloween party a few months ago, whilst several of us were out having a smoke on the balcony. I suggested, that if more than 30% of your time and effort is being spent thinking about or actively pursuing sex, sexual things, etc., then you're just out of whack as a person.

You're not self actualizing. RP teaches us to be the best we can. We should know this and be working towards it; the abundance mentality will flow and sex will just be an ancillary part of our lives.

The men I know and respect the most rarely talk about sex. They have interesting pursuits, knowledge of cars, fishing, hunting, investing, building, business, etc., etc.

I find those that talk incessantly (men and women) about sex to basically be broken human beings. Usually, with a bit of probing... you can discover how shitty their childhoods were, and it's my theory that those broken initial relationships have coloured their perspective and perception of intimate relationships.

Think of all the girls with Daddy issues, guys that are constantly seeking approval of women? Dig deeper, they usually have some hard, hard issues that need resolving.

So yes, sex is all around us and a driving force to much that we do. But if we spend too much time on it, it's a sign we need to RP up.

Interesting - one person said he only thought about sex 5% of the time. I found that a bit low. lol.

The corollary of this is that if I meet a woman and the preponderance of her discussion is sex, sexual innuendo and sexual invitation... she's at the high end of being a hypergamous slut... with all the trappings that come with it.

For a lot of people - yes.

But for most people, once you have satisfied your sexual desires you will find that you will get more focus on other desires: family, friends, career, wealth, retirement.

If you are not familiar with it, read up on Maslows hierarchy of needs.

When you are getting enough sex it is easy enough to think of other things, but without the sex, it is all about sex.

Read something, anything by Freud. A lot of Americans have a hard time with him presumably because of religion but he is pretty much accepted as lifting the veil in Europe. Also The Naked Ape by Desmond Morris, which is an easier read and very insightful on human behavior.
