This weekend was the first time I’ve seen my girlfriend in 8 weeks. She’s been extremely busy at work and hasn’t had much free time to spend with me, which has been a bit of a red flag, but she has a very demanding job and works freelance on the side so I didn’t think much of it.

Her co workers have been passive aggressive with her. She’s kind of the odd one out there. Good Catholic girl who’s had like two partners in a female dominated office, most of who have hit the wall already. They get their validation by having snippy banter with the girls in the office still living “exciting lives,” aka riding the cock carousel.

So what happened this weekend? Why am I telling you to always remember AWALT?

Because I almost got broken up with over me getting aggressive at a movie theater. I swear to fucking God, she brought up breaking up over that—and we’ve been together for almost two and a half years. I thought she’d never consider leaving me, that we loved each other “unconditionally” and all that shit. She was there for me when I got through treatment for Peyronie’s Disease and two periods where I was in between jobs. She’s been with me while my SMV has been very high, and very low. I thought she’d never consider leaving me, but man when a woman feels unsafe in your presence, the love they had for you completely vanishes.

We’ve worked things out, but this really was the final pill I had to swallow.

Nobody will ever love you unconditionally. Relationships are conditional, so don’t get married, and never forget AWALT. If I had gotten married to her and this happened I’d be in the bathroom throwing up right now.
