This is my first post here on the redpill, although I am a long time reader.

Tonight, I am staying up late so that I can pick my husband up from the airport. He has been away on a business trip for 2 days, and I am bored, and I am missing him. That is partly what is inspiring me to write this post.

Sometimes when I am bored I read the posts here, and it seems to me that a lot of the focus is on the hard, firm side of maintaining confidence and showing dominance, which, don't get me wrong, is extremely critical.

But I just wanted to write this post as a reminder (if you happen to need it, if not, disregard) that being FUN and spontaneous and playful are really, really big parts of getting and keeping a girl interested.

I think that being confidently playful signals that you are NOT STRESSED, have control of your life, and of course, that you are dominant. It also provides a woman with excitement, which is obviously really key.

Small examples are: *giving the girl silly nicknames and using them often *pinching her fat and playfully teasing her about it playfully biting her *getting really excited about something unapologetically (I'm thinking of my husband watching Gold Rush), even if the girl thinks it's stupid.
*having a spontaneous idea to blow off some (minor) responsibility in favor of something fun and kind of emphasize being naughty with reckless abandon.

Sometimes the playfulness can have strong dominant undertones (giving her slightly derogatory but funny nicknames, for example), but the point i want to make here is that they don't HAVE to have that element because being playful is inherently dominant. When you feel secure enough to be silly, it sends a pretty strong signal. Think about your boss at work. Are you going to give him nicknames and use them to his face? Pinch him? Flaunt in his face that you are having the time of your life watching youtube videos instead of doing your job? No way. Because those actions are the actions of someone high in the social hierarchy who is secure and sitting pretty. Not an underling.

Anyway, I just wanted to share that point of view because these are the things I am missing regarding my husband who I love very much. Best of luck to all! xo
