A woman and her feelings should never be in your top priorities. She doesnt want that either, despite what she may claim. You're under no obligation to her, dont let women manipulate you by appealing to your provider instincts. Always worry about numero uno. It's okay to have feelings, let them flow, but dont act on them. This is your dream, dont let anyone get in the way of that.

Not your problem. Her safety and well being isnt your obligation. She's trying manipulate you and appeal to your protection instinct. Block her number and dont look back. Dont respond. I repeat dont respond, she's obviously not right in the head, which again, isnt your problem whatsoever.

Go to Thailand. Join a Muay Thai gym for a few months. Grow some hair on your balls. Eat insects. Meditate with a Buddhist. Get you a ten dollar hooker just for the experience. Make sure it's not a boy. Ride an elephant. Party in Phuket. And do a lot more. That's just one country.

Or stay with your ex girlfriend...in America...go to Walmart sometimes...maybe a Starbucks...maybe even go bowling.

Your choice.

Seriously though, you're young and travelling will culture you, by the time you want to really settle down you'll be a much higher value man and be able to get a higher value woman, and as you started going out at 18 theres a good chance it will have ended in a couple more years and by that time you may have responsibilities that really won't let you travel, and you'll kick yourself.

She is likely trying to use this as a tactic to manipulate you back into a relationship. That being said, will that be a consolation for you if she kills herself? If no, then contact a responsible third party who is close to her who can go over and help her. If she is a real mess then she needs this and may be to embarrassed to ask for help. You don't have to take her back but you don't have to turn your back either.

This is coming from someone who isn't even a trp fan. I casually browse here for fun. But gotta agree with people here. Threatening suicide is not a bargaining chip in relationships. If you wanted to break up that's fine. But get threatening that is bad. Call someone from her family, tell then what happened and what she is threatening.

You don't have to get back with her by any means, but you do at least have to notify someone close to her what's going on.

oh and call the cops, they will put her in a hospital where she will get psychiatric help (but mostly, it will just piss her off because she isn't really suicidal but using it as a bargaining chip and isn't planning to be called on it)

If the circumstances were reversed, she would dump you in a heartbeat.

Breaking up is like firing someone - once you decide to do it, you have to follow through and stick with your decision. Changing your mind reveals you as a weakling that will never be respected again; the other side will just look for an opportunity to exploit your weakness.

If she wasn't crazy (threatening suicide), I would say that if she's willing to come with you abroad, then that speaks volumes about her ride-or-die ability.

But she's not willing to enter your frame. You're dodging a bullet; women like that only get worse once they've got your baby or your wallet.
