This in a response to a post about "cheap ways to bulk" that was posted earlier. I think it's important to view different ideas in regards to fitness and the best ways to achieve your goals in the gym and combine to fit your needs. To give you reference to where my experience comes from, I was an athlete all through high school. Wrestled at a high level for the majority of grade school and graduated highshool weighing 140lbs (64kg) at 5'9". I began lifting through university on my university's Olympic weight lifting team and was able to put on around 50lbs and now I'm currently 190lbs at 13% body fat after 4 years of bulking.

My clean bulk diet, will run you more money than a cheap bulk diet but I've noticed better performance and clean weight gain compared to your tympical pasta, gallon of milk and pop tart bulk.
