I’m still questioning if this mindset is healthy or not.
perfectly healthy
I was hitting the club 2-4x a week (depending on how much cash i had) trying to be like one of those dudes. One day i just realized that it was a big fucking waste of my time. Sure enough there were successes, not to mention a ton of utterly embarrassing failures but enough success to keep me going. However, I just felt that it was so mentally draining. Everything in life was all about pussy, getting her to make out with me, getting her pumped up, matching her energy levels, passing shit test, doing this doing that to get her in bed. It was exhausting. Utterly exhausting.
Lightbulb moment. Its kind of why I laugh at all these guys that follow the norm pickup rules and WASTE tons of time on dates etc just at the possibility of getting laid.
Law of least effort. You need to craft your world to where girls chase you and put all that effort into sleeping with you with almost 0 effort on your part besides approaching and saying hi

Well two things in particular stick out with this. 1. Sure you can work 2 jobs and 80 hours per week making as much cash as possible. Buy expensive material objects; cars, house, technologies. But is this guy really enjoying himself working two jobs. Even if he builds his so called "Empire", each day he does not enjoy working these 2 jobs. Although i guess if he enjoys doing the work he does then that wouldn't apply but if he's like me and i think like most other people then he probably isn't thrilled to go to work and would rather do other things if he had the option to. Now, that being said, lets get back his empire that he's built. Each day this man gets older and older. All of this money, empires, status, and power he's created will no longer be accessible to him when he dies. 2. Is somebody who only enjoys the pleasures of life really the people who are living life the right way? I always wonder about this. Instead of working our asses off and eventually losing everything, another option is to fuck as many girls as possible, eat whatever food we want, do hobbies that we enjoy doing, etc. Obviously, we need a minimum amount of money to live and survive but I'm not sure if working 2 jobs and spending the majority of time focusing on building an "empire" is really worth it. Let's look this from the perspective of only dealing with females. When you have sex with a female, it probably lasts 30 minutes max unless your some kind of super freak so for having sex with a female one time like you said it takes a lot of investment including time, effort, money, etc and all of it is for 30 minutes of sex at the most each time. Now, personally busting a nut is a pretty good feeling, its probably one of the best pleasures we can possibly achieve as humans but to me if it takes hours of time talking to females about their drama and problems, doing social favors in return for them, join on dates, playing their mind games then no in my opinion its not worth it. Logically the best option I think is if we could somehow have a remote type of thing where we clicked a button and a hot female would show up to our bedroom, have sex with us and then leave, no strings attached but thats not realistically possible I don't think. Nothing is ever free and when you evaluate the positives versus negatives its probably not worth it. Hookers would be convenient but of course they want money and in order to get money you have to work and it all just repeats itself in a cycle until were dead. Each person needs to figure out what makes them happy and do whatever that is as much as possible in their life. I have no idea what way is correct or not; I'm just spitballing some ideas out right now cause this is shit that i think about everyday. Sometimes i feel like i have no fucking idea with what I'm doing with my life or what life is in general.

Great rant man. I find myself having those same thoughts over and over again.

I've recently unplugged and I'm still working my way through The Rational Male but at 22 working on two degrees, one of which being a foreign language the other Microbiology, as well as going to the gym almost every day of the week and work on top of it I've come to the same conclusion. Women are expensive in not only money but time. I'm done chasing poon.

Well it’s good you’re acquainted to TRP. The whole idea is to create so much value in your life that women would want to be a part of it.

Meh life is all about balance. I think your previous attitude was wrong but you're probably going to burn out if you go too much the other way. Sure work and go to the gym but I really don't think you need to go overboard, although maybe a lot of guys here think differently. Go to uni, secure a good job, go to the gym 3 times a week, maybe something like 5 a side footy another night and the rest will fall into place. Realistically you're probably not going to become some entrepreneurial genius just by working your ass off and telling yourself #hardwork #hardwork. I don't think the mindset is healthy and it reeks a bit of naivety but I'm not one to try and ruin your dreams - go for it and enjoy the journey. I prefer a much more peaceful life taking it as it comes, not killing myself for no man or woman.

I can confirm the exhausting part. I spent this summer basically doing the same, going out trying to pick up girls.
A few minor successes here and there, but mostly blanks, with Château Heartiste's 'mcflakesters' everywhere. It was the first time I did it after reading red pill stuff, so I think it was worth it just as an experiment. But no way I can go through the same routine again the next summer. Also, I am not financially secure yet, so that takes priority as well.
I have come to the conclusion that womanizers are ultimately successful because they like what they do: the seduction, the chase, etc. I sure don't.
It is a cliché, but I really think the overall culture is responsible for the anxiety young men experience regarding sex. And weirdly enough, the more highbrow you are the more erotic references you might actually find. In books and movies everything happens in such a matter-of-factly fashion, that you wonder how women don't similarly bump into you in your everyday life...
Funny, I don't "crave" the feminine touch like you describe it. I just feel that approaching 30 time is slipping away and want to experience sex as a young person, because I know that if not I will regret it when old. When I look back to my early 20s and teens, I don't miss wild parties, or trips, or anything other that a few bangs.
Your new mindset is better. I am gearing towards that right now. I will keep trying to pick up some girls here and there, but if it doesn't happen I will pay for it in my 40s and that will be it. Never wanted to get married or a family of my own, so I am lucky in that sense. I have been slightly depressed over this and I hope to get over it. I would give anything to recover the optimism of my childhood, but you gotta adapt.
