Yep. One of the only ways for the modern, plugged-in male to get in touch with true manhood is through anger. It's terrible that this is true, but it is.
Masculinity is aggression. Competition, conquest, fitness-testing humor, sometimes brutal confrontation - all this stems from aggression. Physical violence is the first thing most people think of when they hear someone described as 'aggressive,' and this can be part of it, but aggression really just describes the imposition of one's own will over another person or the environment, in a masculine way. It's the other side of persuasion, which is the imposition of one's will in a feminine way.
Now look at this in the context of feminized society. The liberal agenda, the conservative agenda, even the 'independent agenda' (which sounds like an oxymoron, but the trends are there) all cater to the feminine. Consensus-seeking, persuasion, this-is-a-democracy-after-all committee rule...this is of the feminine. This is not all bad. Of course it's necessary (sometimes) to achieve consensus, of course it's a good thing (sometimes) to persuade rather than subjugate, it's definitely better (sometimes) to put things to a vote instead of letting one asshole decide how it's gonna be for the rest of the nation. But only sometimes. This is why the masculine / feminine dynamic exists, because both are necessary.
But not to feminists, because the vagina is power and earth-Mother is more worthy than sun-Father and empowerment means chasing that feeling you get when you eat as much chocolate as you want without feeling guilty about it! And as with feminists, so with society, because we let it happen this way until it became inevitable. The feminine persuaded us - it's what they do, after all.
And so now, femininity allows us to vote in the board room, and argue our case in court, and call your manager to file a complaint, and petition the school board for more crossing guards after softball practice, and get on internet forums and express concern over the direction the conversations are taking. These are fine, these are acceptable, because good little girls talk about it and make it all better.
But what of the masculine? What of the drive to conquer? To subjugate? To rip the still-beating hearts from the chests of our adversaries? Well, that doesn't work for us anymore...I mean you can go off to war and do that as long as it's been cleared by a committee first. Or you can go down to your Man Cage Cave and pretend all you want, and here have some videogames that make the pretending easier - but first, let's run them by another committee, just to make sure they're appropriate. Or hey, I know - let's watch some sports! Yes, sports, that's the answer! It's pretending that doesn't feel like pretending, because somewhere there are men actually doing it - not you, but you hurt your knee in high school so it's not like you could do it anymore anyway - and we can gather around and pretend like it's us, and eat pizza and drink beer and high five each other and even act like we're making decisions that affect the game somehow. Hey, what's that guy doing? Isn't that a little too aggressive? Unsportsmanlike! Let's bring him before the committee.
Masculinity is on a leash. Feminists hold the other end. We comply because we are afraid. Anger is more powerful than fear. When we are angry, we act according to our masculinity, but in a destructive way. It's necessary, then, to find a way to embrace that masculinity constructively, before we are consumed by rage.

Alpha Shock
I think what a lot of men experience in Matrix-defined relationships has a lot to do with this cycle of Alpha shocks. By way of pre-established beta frame abdication or by a progressive slide into beta supplication, guy’s girlfriends and wives ease into an normalcy where their man is not living up to be the Alpha they’d hoped for, or later realized they truly needed in their relationship. So when that LTR begins to decay and the very real prospect of divorce or breakup is looming, these sporadic flashes of Alpha (really flares of frustration and anger) serve to make a woman pause in her hypergamic assessment of him. For all the seeming discernment women claim to require is necessary to become sexual with a man, that hypergamic sense of discernement is far more pronounced for women to leave a man whom they’ve already established a sense of security with.
There is a greater need for certainty in a woman’s decision to leave a man than there ever will be for her to fuck a man for the first time.
I’ve posed the question to women before, what’s the best sexual experience you’ve had; after a date-night where your man spared no trouble or expense to make a “romantic evening” for you, or was it the make-up sex after you’ve had a blow out fight, just a hair’s breadth from him walking out of your life forever? Every one has said the make-up sex was best – some conceived children as a result of it.
Those flashes of Alpha are cyclic. Women thrive on indignation to be sure, but it’s the uncertainty in their hypergamic doubt that makes it exciting and the mundane beta security sufferable. A lot of what men construe as Drama Queen behavior is the direct result of this beta-Alpha-beta cycle. The more stable, healthy relationship follows an Alpha-beta-Alpha frame where the man maintains his Alpha presence, with just an occasional beta episode to “prove he’s human”.
