Society always frames an issue as female positive and male negative. Apparently a man cheats because he's threatened, not because he wants some sexual variety.

No, that's exactly what it means. A woman must look up to you (respect you),to 'love' you. To optimally satisfy a woman's hypergamy, a man bust be faster, stronger,taller, smarter, better looking, 'richer', more 'famous' -- better.

Hypergamy is percentage based, not absolute. The higher a woman's socioeconomic status, the more imaginary SMV points she permanently assigns herself, making the relationship less stable.

This sounds like a blind stab at explaining the data she compiled (data which could itself have some problems). I've seen some personality types that would explain some of it, for example the stereotypical gigolo who contributes little yet is seen as irresistible. I think we've all encountered a few of those. Also, she leaves no room for the common refrain that women who work and make a lot are less attractive. Like they become less attractive, with the strain pulled into their faces and the hoarse voice. So not only is she less likely to find a dude on the side who is interested, but her mate is likely less interested and more likely to cheat. I wonder if she explored any of that.
