So, was scrolling through my Twitter feed just now and noticed this news story pop up.

Apparently the woman who was the center of the earlier sexual harassment lawsuit at Tinder has started her own "less creepy" app - and before i even clicked on the link I already knew why it would be defined as such.

The core concept is similar to Tinder, but with several anti-straight-male twists: If a straight man and a straight woman match, only the female can initiate conversations. Not the male. In addition, if she chooses not to respond in 24 hours, the match is wiped and there is no more "connection"...now the male can "choose" to extend this timeline, but only on one match per day. And the female can of course still ignore him. The kicker is that for gay & lesbian couples, either party can initiate contact or extend the timeline, and also has unlimited "re-ups" if no response in 24 hours.

The best part about all this is how this is billed as "less creepy"...hereby taking on the new, disgusting and tortured meaning of the word that we've all come to know.

Once again...we all know the drill. Are you a straight male? Do you like women? Well fuck you, creep. How dare you insert your rapist, cis-hetero oppression into a dating app.

Fucking appalling. I predict this will fail spectacularly, after every female on the app realizes no male in his right mind would ever sign up for such a garbage system.
