Body:

I had a somewhat fairytale relationship at the end of high school. While being good-looking helps this is not the end all in a relationship. You have to be a man... and I wasn't. Before we went off to college she started not having sex with me and I had that gut feeling that it was over. Complaining would make it worse, and she would and I quote say, "Maybe I'm just not attracted to you like that anymore." She begged me to stick it out even though she was moving to Miami for university. The first week I decide that its over, but of course I miss her and get back with her a week later. In comes the cycle of breaking up and making up for another six months, that ended with me entering my anger phase. One day I realized that I was the emotional sponge while she was getting dick in Miami from all kinds of random dudes. One day I straight up asked her if she was fucking other dudes and she said yes. I asked her how many, "I don't know... Two, three... I'm not sure I get drunk sometimes." (I wouldn't doubt that her number is over 100) From that point on is when I realized that wow, I need to move on.

I moved on and didn't text her for maybe six months. I'd get random calls from her asking whats up. She would still wish me happy birthday. This happened for the next three years until about a month and a half ago.

Now this wasn't the first time she tried to hangout since we stopped talking but it was the first time that I said yes. I felt like what the heck, I'm over it, why not? (Also had just broken up with another girl)

I ask her what's going on in her life and she says found a rich guy in Miami who she's been with for like two years, she says they're not together but were dating. She says that they don't really have sex anymore and that its kinda the same thing that happened between us...

Fast forward to the morning after because yall know what happened and she tells me how different I am. "Wow you're still so hot. Wow the sex is night and day." She mentions that she's sorry for everything that happened between us and that she still loves me lol... (This is literally the first time I've seen her in three years.) I graduated in that time span and invited the other girl I had just broken up with, but even just coming back into my life she literally asked if she could come to my graduation. She demanded I stop having sex with my other ex haha. She drove an hour for that month to come and see me. She said that she had a lot going on in her life and just wanted to have fun with her other ex since her and her "ex-boyfriend" don't have sex anymore.

Fast forward to about three weeks after, I text her and ask what she's doing this weekend. She tells me she's going to Miami. "Okay cool. This is why we are each others back up plan..." I get a text the next day at 4 am from her saying, "Sorry to disappoint you but the only reason I had sex with you was to see if I wanted to get back with my boyfriend. That is the only reason I will ever have sex with you." Alright cool... Block her number because this is what was expected lol.

Next day she calls me (not sure why calls go through when a number is blocked) and tells me it was her ex who sent that message. He went through her phone found my number and sent that... I asked how her weekend was and if she had sex wit him. She says they went jet-skiing. The beach. The club and out to dinner. She says fuck no they didn't have sex, especially after that. She then asks when she'll see me again.

All I could do was laugh...

Summary:

I used to be that guy. I think I've come a long ass way. Stop being that guy! Improve yourself. You may never see tangible results like this but you'll see it in different ways.
